What'll hurt a whole lot more is not cutting the cancer out now before it becomes terminal.

All the answers to all of the questions you have is contained in that statement.

No, the answers aren't.

You implore others to not sign up for memberships and not turn up to the game.

Even if that contributes to the board, CEO and coach getting sacked, at what cost?

Surely there are better ways of obtaining that end, without damaging the club further than it needs to be.

The club is already close to being irrevocably damaged. You may not think it is. I do.

That's where our conversation ends Delta.

Ok then, but why are you still pushing to damage it further?

You can't give me a straight answer, can you?

Rescue the club by not buying memberships or turning up to games?

You won't explain how that works for a simple reason.

You can't.

IT is not that hard The Heart beats true.

Buy a scarf and a ticket at the gate and go in.

Yell your support and you are home free.

The club doesnt need RR to bring them down, there doing a fine job of that themselves.

*Edit ... You just inspired a temporary profile pic change, Delta.

Hope you like it.

There are much better ways to bring on a revolution, that don't cripple the club further in the process.

Whilst I don't agree with your aim, it's your method that I'm really questioning.

And whether it will actually bring about what you claim to want.

RR - you can have your revolution and still support the club financially.

We don't have owners like in the US (thank god).

All we have is a normal administrative setup determined by an elected board of Demons who are there by the grace of God (The Members) and there own willingness to put aside time for the club.

The way I see it:

If you are correct, there'll be a convincing argument.

If you have a convincing argument, promote that and get that out to people.

If it's convincing, the majority should agree with you, and change will happen.

If its not convincing, it's probably because you're not right.

Resorting to telling people not to attend matches, not to buy memberships, and generally doing your best to spread despair through hyperbole, tells me you probably don't have the conviction that people will be convinced by your argument without that.

Pretty pictures though.

No arguments from me. I'm finished with the weak bastards.

You know it's a lie BBO. For starters, they'll tease you with a better performance against the w eagles...say, a 110 point loss.

'I believe in neeld'

You tried endlessly to gai support in an effort to derail common sense. There were only a few of us that understood that we were being sold fools gold. Rangerover, you must accept some responsibility the position we are in because of the energy you gave the movement. If only the followers decided in majority to vote "no" to neeld, maybe we could have got rid of him in round 8 last year.

Rr, you have a short memory, and your reputation is shot.

Entitled to your opinion Delta.

Nice to have a forum where we can all express our views.

This club is a disgrace. It is bruise free football.

Last week I was disappointed with the showing against Port. Today I am, like another poster wrote, ashamed.

I vowed to stick through all this at the end of round 1, however, after tonight, I will be posting my membership & my sons membership back to the club & my son can pick his own team to follow when he feels like it.

I will always be a Demon, but I will not let my 3yo go through what all of us go through ever season.

RIP Melbourne Football Club

A parent has so much influence.

Persist with your kids as ugly as the club might get.

The future depends on it.

You certainly like to talk in absolutes. I blame RR for the current tensions in Korea as well.

Do you really believe we can sustain 20 more weeks of this?

And the bonus is that by supporting the mighty Dees that time seems a hell of a lot longer.

What do you think will happen if there is another 3 or 4 months of this?

The AFL will take away our licence?

A caretaker will be installed, a challenge will be made to the board in September (this things take a while to organise), and new leadership will be brought in then.

If we spill it all now we will have a Acting President who isn't ready for it, a CEO from inside the club who isn't up to it, and four months of a caretaker coach - which is a lifetime.

You think we will be considered a joke if we continue like we have, I am telling you that the joke will be confirmed if we spill everyone right now.

Instability and disunity midseason with costly firings.

That isn't funny.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
