A Box Hill forward left alone giving the visitors an easy goal in the shadows of half time and Casey trails by 14 points.

Bit of a worry....

Box Hill goal from a free and the lead's back to 7 points.

Jack Trengove very quiet.

That's a concern, but he's had very little conditioning so hopefully he'll get into his groove.

Kent misses one from 45 & then kicks an opportunist goal crumbing 10m out. Trengove, Couch & Terlich all getting touches this qtr so far.

How's Trengove's touch and pace after so long off the track?

Most importantly, is his pace IMO, looked slow last year, don't expect he'll have fitness, but speed would be nice so we can at least have some hope.

Tom Couch doing well at least 6 disposals this qtr. Kent misses another on the run 45 degree angle 30m out on the run.

Rohan Welsh on the way to the Qtr time huddle, ' One goal five, typical fu#@ing Melbourne game style.' Good to hear isn't it?

Did he really say this? ?? If so that isnt cool at all. Sounds like a right [censored].

Terlich with another 50 entry after a good tackle to win possession. 27 for Casey missing 10m out on the snap.

Taggert playing?

Box hill against the run of play kick a goal after a Dom Barry turnover.

That's word for word mate.

Three Quarter Time: Casey Scorpions 3.16.34 to Box Hill 6.7.43.

Stats: Magner 28, Couch 26, Terlich 25, Davis 23, J.Tynan 18, Clisby 17, Evans, Kent, McDonald 14

That's word for word mate.

Seriously? That's extremely poor if he's saying stuff like that and can't imagine he'll be in the job long with that attitude.

It must be frustrating for him as well as he would have a different coaching style and game plan to neeld...but he should not be saying [censored] like that

Magnets had a bit of it this qtr without doing to much with it. Terlich best of the Dees & I'd say is too good for this level.

Barry with nice disposal inside 50 to hit Kent up. Kents disposal/decision making letting him down.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
