Possible 2012 delistings

Featured Replies

More about his injury rather than talent. What they're trying to get him up is at best called 'experimental'.

FYI that was a completely fabricated rumour, posted soley for some sport with old dee!

As an old Government employee it is POETS day !

Sorry leaving early for a single malt or a beer !!

Jay Clark has been right on about 10% of the trades/delistings he has made up this year, and the ones that have been correct are the ones that have been widely reported by other sources too... not taking this as truth till announced by MFC

I saw Petterd at the beach a week ago, so I hope he's not leaving

Are the two parts of your sentence, the bit before and the bit after the comma, connected in any way, or just two thought bubbles???

Already lost Green (ret), Jurrah (quit), Lawrence (quit), Rivers (FA) & Moloney (FA)

Still to come I'm thinking: Martin (trade), Bate (delist), Petterd (delist), Bennell (delist), Cook (delist)

The trade period is over. We have ended up with Dawes, Viney, Pederson, Byrnes, Barry, and Rodan. With Hogan a late starter.

We have said farewell to Jurrah, Green, Moloney, Gysberts, Morton, Rivers, Martin, Sheahan and Lawrence.

We have picks 4, 49, 53, 63 and 73 with a strong chance we will use the later picks to upgrade Nicholson from our rookie list.

Now we wait to see who else is de-listed. Maybe Cook, Petterd, Bate, and Bennell.

We have said goodbye to 7 senior list and brought in 6 new faces (plus Nicholson - assume upgrading).

If we use all 5 of these picks, then we have to de-list a further 5 players. Is this correct?

Start with 38 on senior list we can have 40 next year

So 38 + 6 (including viney) = 44

Trade or retire seniors 7 ,.... 44 - 7= 37

If we bring in those 5 you mention from the National Draft.

37 + 5 = 42

Which means at a minimum we de-list 2. plus another if we upgrade Nicho

But it depends on how many we may be targeting in the PSD.

and the De-listed FA etc..

So at a minimum we de-list 2, plus an option of another 3.

You would think we would leave one spot open for pick 3 in the pre-season draft.
