Here in the states i'm a journalist. The college football team which I cover has been outscored 103-6 in the first half this year. I think i'm a masochist.

Did things improve in the second half? If so, maybe it's better than watching the Dees.

The team has been better in the second half, but still haven't won a game. 0-6 record.

Which team?

Don't worry, it's just a development phase. A few high draft picks, free agents, moneyball trades, fitness coaches, GPS units and preseason time trials will have the team playing for a premiership (provided they don't merge first).

How can a team get outscored like that, that's 15 touchdowns for a half?

It's actually quite impressive! They've yet to score in the first quarter. The 110 points that they've now given up as they just got scored on again is the total number of points against them in the first half. They're averaging giving up nearly 30 points a half.

Hope they dont wear the red and the blue?????

Interesting AD. Do they have a draft meeting and tanking over there?

Just asking

Haha no, Purple and White actually.

College? Not the Sooners?

Blame Cale Morton....

Man, Morton's tentacles reach far and wide. He has far more influence than even I'd previously given him credit for. Kinda like Keyser Soze!

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
