Demons for Docklands?

Featured Replies

Whatever happens with the Docklands precinct projects, the time is NOW, to plan for an Admin & Social complex near Training,,, & close to the 'G'.

The oportiuniities are there @ AAMI/Gosch's, if the will is, & the political pull is...

As I said the Tiges & Pies are building they're new facilities now as are the Bombers out at a hangar near them. Car'ton has completed they're s. The Cats are pushing onward & upward with a fantastic facility @ they're home ground. $$$$ They'll be raking it in.

Guess who, is still iffy with the Facilities, Admins' & the Social?? North, Us, & I'm not to sure re the Bullies with they're s.

We must keep up with them, or we will fall further behind.

# edit: What stadium? I think it was to be an open air training field with a building for some facilities??

IMO Dee-luded there is more chance that we will go back to the Junction before the "an open air training field with a building for some facilities" get built at the docklands.

Other than that I basically agree with you.

Why all this worry and hand wringing about some probably never to be built stadium? - the negativity of this site is mindblowing. The town planners working for the MCC have not included a new stadium in Docklands in their future planning. Source: a town planner emloyed by the MCC.

YEP!

Put simply: Don't even think about dock(waste)lands!

Now, what's more important to discuss?

Time to vote Jeff back in I reckon.

No one else could 'sell' that sort of expenditure

Looks great. Hope they build it in the right direction & Bulldoze Etihad.

Jacksons great legacy.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
