Carlton to sack several coaches

Featured Replies

Heard today from a close contact - that several assistant coaches will or have been shown the door...

Richardson and 2 ex Dee coaches - Bomber Riley & Paul Williams..

It is believed Rob Wiley has already agreed to replace one of them..

So, the cogs in the gearbox that have been whirring away for some time on the starting grid, are finally driving, & the wheels are turning....MMmmm... so where is Summa?

the wheel turns, gotta love it. ^_^

Can we get back that Prendergast bloke? He could take on our recruiting role. Heard he is good at it...

Mick doesnt muck around does he...lol

The mouse has roared !!

This is going to be a very expensive exercise for Carlton

Malthouse will cost them a mill per year

Ratten will be paid out, and it was obvious Mick would bring his own team in

Didn't they borrow $8m from the AFL not long ago?

How are they possibly even funding this?

I wonder if Carlton fans are blaming the sacking of assistant coaches on mark neeld surely this is his fault too.

I hear the Pratt family have a bob or 2.......

Then why did they borrow $8m off the AFL

And yes, I realise the Pratt family is behind the scene, but then it's makes a mockery of their recent loan

8mil from the Pratts would have counted as earnings for the club, and would have reduced the amount paid to them by the AFL. Borrowing from the AFL makes them short on cash and so is likely to increase their cut from the AFL. Crooked accounting Carlton-style.
