And this with a large chunk of our list out of action and 14 players with less than 50 games.

totally agree, i only noticed the stats at 3/4 time and we have improved a lot in all areas since the start of the season. the telling stat was goals scored from turnovers. they were huge and really was the story of the game. the fact is we have improved and there is something to be hopeful about.

I was there, felt it could have been a different game if we kicked the first 3 of the second which we missed.

Besides that I wasnt surprised at the result.

What really annoyed me was the poor turnout. One of our champions was playing his final game and we could only manage 18,000 people. Im not getting carried away and suggesting that we should have gotten 80,000 but I would have thought 30,000 would have turned up. Pretty poor MFC supporters.

Once our players decide they want to start winning games, maybe they'll get a few more people through the gates. Until then, they deserve to play in front of whatever die-hard supporters are willing to sit through the garbage they dish up every week.

I went every week for the first four years of us being out of the 8 ('07 to '10). I'll start going again when we look like winning a majority of our games. Once we dip back down again, I'll probably keep going for a few more years. But I have better things to do with my life than freeze my nuts off for no reason every weekend.

There was a time when I'd do anything to shift my responsibilities and go to the game. But that time has passed, at least for now.

Who was I berating? Im sure BB59 will be fine. I was saying it was a poor turnout and I found it frustrating. Thats my opinion and im expressing it, isnt that what forums are for?
