What will you do if we are severely penalised?

Featured Replies

Theres no way we can be punished.

The Tigers game would be the one in question and we were in front at the siren.

I think we are probably lucky the game ended the way it did.

We need this draft and like it or not - we really need Viney to slip to second round.

Im very doubtful this will happen, but if It did - we would be very well set up going forward.

Well i have nothing to live for, so i think i'd slice the throat of B Mclean! :)

Jokes... but i'd be pretty [censored] off.

I'd want to raise money to fund a court action against the AFL, Brock McLean and Paul Gardner.

If they punish Melbourne then they will open a can of worms that will never be closed again. Admit the rules are wrong change them and get on with the game.

^^^ This. Could be sorted in one afternoon if Vlad & Anderson had any balls between them.

In this unlikely situation then the individuals involved may be punished but it may be hard to prove the whole club conspired to lose-Ask Brock McDirty.

Well it looks like the AFL have spoken to Bailey again and also some club officials. Im getting a little worried that we will be used as an example of tanking and somthing will happen. It would just be typical of the year we have had. Although I cant see anyone coming out and actually saying yes we did tank.

But interesting that in Jim autobiography released in 2 weeks that he covers the issue of tanking and notes the priority pick was a big carrot. Anyway happy to read that Andrew D still believes it doesnt exist.

MFC should have all premiership points taken away for 2012 and all Premierships for the past 47 years scrubbed from the record books if they are proven to have deliberately lost games for draft picks.

and you just won the most popular post of the week award. congratulations.

your prize is to give yourself a dozen uppercuts

I just sat through an AMway presentation-I will happlly pour acid in my eyes and listen to Johnny Farnham non-stop for a year on behalf of the club .Anything but the Amway salesman.

What if they take away three draft picks for two seasons or fine us $1 mill?

I'd go ape Sh*t!!! i know we tanked but still...

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
