Whats a good area to sit in and watch the game?

Second thoughts may be watching the games is not so important after how badly we play against good sides.

Assuming the game is worth watching, it depends on what you want to see most. Yesterday I went with a group of people and we went in Gate 5. As it was raining when we got there, we couldn't find seats under cover on the ground level, so we went up to level 2A (just in front of all the corporate superboxes). This gave quite a good view of the ground, although it was a little exposed when it started raining later. Unfortunately we got to see Geelong's second quarter rampage up close ...

Otherwise, ground level in the Northern stand is one spot I like, as you can hear the players calling to each other when the play is nearby, or the top level for a 'coaches' view of the game (and plenty of room to move around and choose a particular spot).

was interesting they wouldn't put on the lights in the first half when it was dark

then in the second half the sky was blue the sun came through and they turned the lights on

go figure

agree on the crappy jumper od, just what were they trying to prove

seems that when they get a chance to wear the home strip they think of some cockamaney reason to wear some pantomine special occasion crap

yeah, i know the tv stations wanted it

clown outfits next week would be appropriate

On this occasions dc i don,t think I can blame the TV stations.

This is making of the MFC.

Clown costumes would fit the way we play dc.

Put them both in the forward line.

Only one of them would be any good in the wet, and that one can't kick ...

closer bbo? he went way past that feeble description long time ago

btw are you aware someone has hijacked your account? get a decent anti-virus product

I would have suspected the green pond slime that posts here dc, however, the hijacker appears to be literate ( at least beyond colouring books) and so I must eliminate him ....................... "I must eliminate him" ............... hmmmmmmmmmmm.

As he is coming for the Hawks game R and B I reckon the Bar might be the best spot.

We can all enjoy ourselves without the agony going on at ground level.

I am absolutely amazed not one has commented on the jumper yesterday.

I truly would have preferred the white one.

From the outer it is just a dark blue nothing.

Agreed OD. No reason to wear it again, as far as I can see. Let that jumper be forgotten along with the game ...

Well.. at least pay the girls more!!!!

Have you not read the papers- there is a recession looming.

One must save for a rainy day . We must all tighten our belts .sort of.

Hey Bbo I took my GD to see the Alpacas at the show grounds today.

She was most impressed.

Actually enjoyed it myself.

We then ventured into the poultry area, she was not so impressed.

The girl has good taste.

Now if the Dees could start winning I might have a chance there for a young Dee follower.

I don't want to bore you with the intricacies of my work practises but you are aware that the cost of precursor chemicals had trebled in the last financial year- I nearly rang the ACCC to complain .

Next time we should all roll up to Bbos with some garlic , rosemary and a rotisserie .

I refuse to despatch one of them for ethical reasons and also because they have such lovely eyes.

IMO we been showing the white (flag) for way too long.

The team colours are blue and red, so may be a lighter coloured blue may do the job OD?

Pity I didn't know you were attending today OD. A couple of "the lads" were there and would have looked after you. They no longer compete of course - a scandal involving a (former) virgin female alpaca was ( falsely) attributed to them. Enough said.

I remember You telling me about the scandal with the farm hand on the 457 visa.

I still can't believe you didn't know what was happening until the lads started speaking with a kiwi accent.

There is a sad loss of innocence story in that.

The lads were quite naive in those days and thought the only reason people wore gumboots was to keep their feet dry!

Watching them play rugby in the paddock must have been the final straw for you.

Perhaps if you spent less time at the neighbours your flock might feel safer.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
