Message bank full? That must be posters trying to abuse you!

Not popularity surely?

nah, i've just got a small one (wink)

Does that mean you are related to the F... Wit who paid that deliberate against Bail and then totally ignored a dropping the ball on Murphy 35 metres out from our goal, with about 90 seconds to go and then didn't blow time on when Minson put the ball on the ground after a mark, eliminating 10 seconds of play. Then the siren goes as we are running ionto the forward 50.

What you point Red?

This is the standard of umpiring we always get.

What's snow, DC? :blink::blink:

It must be an urban legend as I never seen it

I am sure the doorman will be happy to oblige ... failing that, you could try BBO once he escapes the Viet Cong

We are building a relationship with Vietam over here.

They even gave me some of their coffee and tea which is nice but where is the bananas?

Yeah but we don't have to like it, DF. Yelling #R%#% at the umpies at the footy is as traditional as having a pie, or getting jazza a soy moccachino with two sugars ...

In the banana shop? Or on the banana tree?

Could be cheap imported rubbish ...

Like it RBB, we love it!

That why we bent over and let the AFL shaft us time and time again.

But things could alway be worse, we could be Collingwood supporters.

I think the Professor has eaten them all.

True enough, DF, but there is a part of me that says this little black duck could never barrack for Collingwood

Good to hear that the little black duck will remain innocent and pure.

You can image my horror when Mrs Frog was once talking about supporting Collingwood in the AFL.

I have purchase her that much Melbourne gear and with their past eight years performance I not sure she even like AFL anymore.

My work is done as another person has been saved for Eddie, FIGJAM and their boys.

Hey dc we still have not won in that last century jumper I notice!

We need a sash

anything to escape the last half century DF

you could get frog to design a new jumper with totally new colours and one that wouldn't need a clash jumper

we could even rename the demons to the jollies (after jolimont)

Sounds like what the Melbourne tigers in NBL are doing dc.

I am a long term member / supporter who goes to games.

Nett result is I doubt I will have any interest next season.

After supporting the Tigers in yellow and black for 30 years nothing else will cut it I am afraid.

Not even a red and blue strip OD

I do support teams outside of Red and Blue bb.

What is important in my previous comment is you make major changes to sporting teams at your peril.

Would pies supporters follow their team if it switched to the Melbourne sparrows and played in two greens?

I doubt it.

No, but I like your thinking ...:blink:

Not quite true --- we wore the red and blue in the win against Richmond. However, the other three have all come in the white abomination ...

FWIW I thought it was good step to wear the red and blue against the dogs, rather than the white that we sometimes have in the past. However, if I had known the white would make us win ... :)

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
