wont win the rising star with turnovers

Wtf? He turned it over once!

He won't win one until we do. End of story.

Stole my thunder. Love the kid, but when we're stagnant at kickouts and he hits up hawthorn players he ain't going to win a nomination!

wont win the rising star with turnovers

Grimes got nominated and Jones got 2 nominations.

End of story.

Was never going to win after a shell lacking like we got on the w/end.

His time will come.

100% correct RR.

Shuey and Libba both had better games than Tappy this week, and were in winning sides. People in the media love Tapscott already so he will get it at some stage. Be patient.

regardless of our result next week he won't get nominated. Libba was stiff not to get the nomination this week but they just could not ignore the perfromance of Shuey

yeah Shuey's numbers were very good. I feel its a matter on when not if for tappy

wont win the rising star with turnovers

A lamentable post from a shallow thinking supporter. Kicking out is now one of the hardest things to do in footy, especially when your own teammates are stagnant. The fact that Tapscott has been given the honour since his first game in the AFL is testament to his ability and how he's regarded at the club.

His kicking, general decision making, marking and courage has already been a revelation. No player is immune form turnovers the way the game is now played.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
