Quick Observation:

If you were given picks 2 and 19 and told that you were able to secure the services of both Gary Ablett and Dane Swan (arguably the two best players in 2010) you'd say stop talking BS.

Well Deez Nutz secured them.

I have great faith in Chip.

:)

It's not a normal draft though - you need to fill every position and you need to be mindful that you must take 1 player from each team.

I'd take 4 AA players as opposed to Ablett, Swan, Newton and Jake King (extreme example).

Yeah I know, it as an observation. Besides Deez Nutz may argue that he'd like a superior midfield. Just for argument's sake.

The game is won in the midfield, or so it is said.

Maybe not - I think R16-18 could get very interesting

Yeah, was surprised when I saw ox_5 reach for Black, but at the same time, I'm not awed by the talent available at Brisbane.

I didn't consider Brown either, for the same reasons.

I guess, I see this as being like GC17 - I'm building a team to compete from Round 1 2011, but with the future in mind.

Yeah I went early, because it's the take the cream early. Those I rate above him I don't need.

Will make a handy winger if I can get who I want.

A winger? different.

A winger? different.

I am a little. See how things pan out

10:15 Fri 3/12 is The Master's deadline

RRR's next pick is in the can with me.

Yeah, thanks mate. It's really great when everyone maybe has forgotten about someone and you interfere.

Awesome. Bartel is still available too! Wanna point that out?

I mean, I have a list of players I'm aiming to get, maybe I should just post it on here?

Oh waah.

I doubted anyway that people had simply forgotten him. But if I was there I'd have taken him by now. Not that that matters at all.

Read a bit further.

No, but filling posters with confidence that a player they rate will be there later, means others can swoop.

Or alternetively, you could be able to manipulate the strategy of the weak-minded.

There are all sorts of little mind games to play.

You mean this?

Meh...I was merely presenting my POV. Which I know no one cares about, but if we all did what we thought people wanted, then rpfc would hardly post and this site would lose some of its lustre.

Can't believe Bartel is still there and I won't pick him!

Pick 34. The Master - Dale Thomas (Coll).

I feel dirty.

Misdirection.

I don't care if someone chooses Enright or Bartel.

I expect them to be gone anyway.

Was going for best available, I rated Ablett and Swan as obvious top 3 selections along with Sandilands. Was one pick away from getting Pavlich in the 3rd round, would have been a perfect start. A lot of the lesser known KPF's I thought would slip haven't, was also hoping for Mumford with my next pick but the 25 of E beat me to it.

Time to get tactical on this mother...

E25 selected Kreuzer, Mumford's the No. 1 ruck at my team

I think he meant the th38 of E.

Got your bookends Trengove...

Progressing very nicely, quite happy so far. All from imo lesser clubs too :)

Sandilands..?

I consider Freo one of the relatively "full of talent" teams.

Not quite Geelong or Collingwood, but still.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Geelong

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
