Yeah,  I was hearing Foles to Tate a fair bit but must have been on the earlier drives.  Speaking of drives,  good teams seem able to have long drives as part of who they are.

The Saints being no exception with that 90+ yard,  22 play drive that seemed to go on forever ... proved the difference as the Eagles just couldn't get hold of the ball and then keep it. Yet,  a couple more completions on that last drive and you possibly/probably win the game.

I have to say, as good as Brees is and Peyton with his amazing playcalling... Saints D were incredible after 1/4 time. Shut out Nicky Franchise.

What I would give to have Kupp available this weekend.

He was pretty good vs the saints and I just read Goff averages less on passing without Kupp.

Looking forward to both championship games this week. Plenty of great offense to watch and there will definitely be room for surprises, I'm going with a Patriots V Rams Superbowl.

Kupp is super. I'd recruit Reynolds though, personally. Think he goes well.

When we lost, I breathed a sigh of relief. There was genuinely going to be a QB controversy if he went all the way and won another one. Wentz is the better player no doubt, and I'm not ready to see him go, not for a 1 and a player like people were suggesting.

Yeah Reynolds is good, but Kupp is our slot receiver, meaning Woods plays slot which in turns means a less threat down the side as Reynolds isn’t as effective and means cooks cooks more attention.

For us to win, we need to run the ball down the throat of the saints and punch it out the other side.

I don't have the Eagles as high as Rams... and Eagles probably should have won in the end on that last drive. I'll take Rams this week. (not necessarily my tip though lol)

Yeah have to agree there, I think they win if it was in Philly.

And yet. Philly should have lost against Bears with the Parkey kick. Not only that but Lutz should have ended the Saints game with his 52 yarder.

most games in the NFL I find have a turning point, sometimes it’s a turn over or a 3 and out, etc etc

personally im hoping for a massive win by the Rams where the game is over by the end of the first ?

Momday is going to be painful, I should get to see the game at 2pm, such a long time to avoid everything!!!

Happens sometimes in aussie rules too. Max Gawn goes to bench, oppo clears the ball and it's game on.

Eagles game it was the cheeky 4th down fake punt they did.

Rams 27 @ Saints 30

Pats 22 @ KC  35

Rams 48 - saints 45 AD strip sack and runs it in for the winning TD on his first ever score!

Pats 27 - KC 21

Yes GtB ... I have picked KC but if I wouldn't be betting against the Pats. So heart rules the head on that pick.  I like Andy Reid too and would like to see him win a SB.

The Rams for Gorg as well but I picked the Saints only because they're at home and that is a big advantage for New Orleans.

Agree on the home field adv.

For me for the Rams to win, Gurley and CJ need to get 180+ yards running and Donald and Suh need to be so far into Brees face all game.

And realistically our D will be the difference between win and loss.

Heart says we win, head cries...

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
