I have seen him twice this year one occasion was the slaughter at Williamstown.

In that game he was one of the few things that gave me any joy.

I think the kid is a goer.

He looks better to me in his first year at Casey than Watts did.

So take that for what it is worth.

Is the glass half full or half empty?

In this case I think it is definately Half full!

MY HUMBLE APOLOGIES TO ONE AND ALL- FITZPATRICK IS THREE MONTHS YOUNGER.And some people can be picky and pradantic.

I have a new nickname for one poster-- Mr Donnish

Pradantic??!

Bahahhahahaahaahhaaha vintage jcb.

Gets it completely wrong then sledges others for picking him up on it.

Welll... you can improve your kicking... but you either have a footy brain or you dont and he does.

Jamar, Gawn and Fitzy...three legs of our rucking stool.... thats one bloody big stool !!!!:lol::lol::lol:

Come on!-You're leaving out Spencer. I reckon he has huge potential. young, big, good heart. At 23 he'll be a star I reckon

With men and women, does you think that men should marry only one woman? Does you believe in mahogany? - Ali G

Kids of his size need time--lots of it! I recall watching Jimmy in his first few games in the 2s--truly we laughed a lot.

It's somehow unfair on the bigger kids that after 2 years they be more vulnerable to being cut, than the on-ballers who create a good impression immediately. I hope he makes it.

lol

Some others need to suck to others-Don't they ?

Pradantic??!

At least I don't have to change my name .

Enforcer 25 to E25 isn't exactly a big change. Much like 45hotgod16 to 45HG16 wasn't.

Back to the topic please..

I don't understand this idea of 'making a call' on a player. Too many premature 'gun' or 'dud' calls are made every week. What's the point ... so you can appear authoritative? I see no reason to 'make a call' on Fitzpatrick (or Morton, Maric, MacDonald or any other player).

People (with egg on their faces) have been 'making the call' on lots of players for years ... players like Jamar (or Dale Thomas of Collingwood) who have been in the system for 4-5 years before they start playing really good footy.

Indeed maurie. ie. Colin Sylvia.

I went to Werribee a few weeks back a left thinking this kid has ability. His ruck work was good he took some good marks and looked very quick and mobile for his size. With picks that high in draft especially key talls it is a punt and it is far to early judge on his ability and whether he will make it.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.

  • CASEY: Northern Bullants

The Casey Demons travelled to a windy Cramer Street, Preston yesterday and blew the Northern Bullants off the ground for three quarters before shutting up shop in the final term, coasting to a much-needed 71-point victory after leading by almost 15 goals at one stage. It was a pleasing performance that revived the Demons’ prospects for the 2025 season but, at the same time, very little can be taken from the game because of the weak opposition. These days, the Bullants are little more than road kill. The once proud club, situated behind the Preston Market in a now culturally diverse area, is currently facing significant financial and on-field challenges, having failed to secure a win to date in 2025.

  • GAMEDAY: Sydney

It’s Game Day, and the Demons have a golden opportunity to build on last week’s stirring win by toppling Sydney at the MCG. A victory today would keep them firmly in the hunt for a finals spot and help them stay in touch with the pack chasing a place in the Top 8. Can the Dees make it two in a row and bring down the Swans?
