Unbelievable. Jamar punches it through from a ruck contest and is called for deliberate. These Umps need to be taken out back and shot.

That is actually the rule, not the umpire's fault.

Jake Spencer is horrible.

So whats Mathew Bate's excuse this week? He is such an ordinary footballer.Jetta is terrible! Joel Mac is lost out there. rivers not sure what he's doing!

Someone said in another thread that Bate is our best forward, I guess that says it all about where we are right now.

Why oh why did we extend Bailey's contract?????? It's not as if he was a wanted man, this will be his first and only time as a head coach of an AFL club. Everybody's lauding the board and the direction it's taking, however i reckon they have really stuffed this one up. Bailey simply isn't good enough to be a head coach.

That's it, I'm totally off Bailey. We have had all the opportunities and advantages we could ask for and have just been treading water.

Time for a change.

I reckon it was a payoff for agreeing to tank last year.

Seriously, our coaching staff are crap - Bailey is cheap, that why we can't win.

If Garry Lyon isn't thinking about stepping up into the job now, when we need some heart, then we are going nowhere....

Where can I find a copy of this rule? I must read it!

If you punch the ball out on the full from a ruck contest, it is a free kick to the opposition.

Bailey has done his part cleaning house now its time for someone to bring the side forward. I think Bailey still has a part with the club, right not I dont like him as coach.

Only consolation, we're getting good at all the other club songs...

Disappointing. Capable of much better.

Not sure but the guys from 'On the Couch' apparently spoke to the Geish about it this week and confirmed it...

Random!

But it wasn't out on the full. It was through the goals. Also, this is exactly what Trengove did against PA in Darwin. How was it a point then and a free today?

Do us a favour Bailey, please resign.

Why would he??? He's still got 1.5 years to go. It's the MFC brains trust who idiotically decided to give him a contract extension.

Bailey needs to go, but who would we replace him with??? I would dearly love Paul Roos to coach us, but that's really far-fetched. Who else is there? Maybe we get Peter Sumich to captain-coach. 2 Birds with one stone, new coach and a new FF.

Yeah we keep fooling ourselves with all these "great" players, but truth is we're a crap team.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
