Another good Martin Flanagan article :)

Great article, great club, great man! It's an absolute priviledge to support the Melbourne Footy Club.

Pretty sure I've seen part of that before. In fact, the first half of today's article was the intro to this year's Season Guide thingy from the club. Still a fantastic read second time round though, what a story what a journalist.

I thought i had read that before, you are right. But hey i never tire of Flanagan's writing.

Inspirational. B)

I´m so damn proud of what is going on at our club at the moment.

Long may it continue.

Go the Demons!!

I love Martin Flanagan's work and I love what the club is doing in the field of the health of our indigenous people but if Yuendumu is really "500 kilometres north-west of Darwin" it's probably part of Indonesia. Actually, it's about that far to the south west of Darwin and around 290k north west of Alice Springs.

Flanagan's lucky to have been there twice and we're so lucky that he has retained an interest in our club. And how lucky are we that the publicity surrounding our club surrounds the work of Hugh Taylor rather than drunken brawls in hotels and coaches who aren't liars but they don't mind telling porkies?

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
