far far far with k k k on the end!!

Twice Fitzy was on the lead but dropped it as the sun was in his eyes. Two 50's we;ve given away in 2 mins. 2 goals 2 Docks to 1 point Dees...........

saw scullys lightning hands, would have set up scoring opp but for a holding free against us. bennell done some nice things. nervous shot at goal by trengove. morton is class.

dockers giving themselves more scoring opps. we are struggling at half fwd

Defenders are doing ok but we are going backwards to try and run through the back half but we end up just turning it over as there looks like very little movement up the ground.

Again skills under pressure are so frustrating. Finally got some run, McDonald (Brissie) handballed to Morton who was smashed as soon as he touched the ball, turn over goal!!!

fair go, its the first quarter of the NAB cup.

After hearing some nice reports over the summer and hoping for a decent contest tonight

well I guess we are going to battle getting out of the bottom 4

Another goal now and we are 27 points behind this isn't looking good early

Bennell has made some bad mistakes early, loving scullys hands, nothing looking good forward

Another turn over coming out of defence, turn over.... GOAL.

Our skills let us down but at the same time (it is hard to see up the ground on TV) it seems like there is just nothing up the ground for the defenders to kick too.

28 to 1 point 1min to go in 1st.

Ugly. Just go long down the centre. Can't understand where Bailey is comming from in his coaching!

i do not know what people (on this site) were thinking when they had the dees finishing with at least 7-8 wins this season. I hope the Dees can start playing some good football once he grows up :(

Scully great hands in close along the wing. Shocking free kick against him for holding it.

Dees make turn over... Rivers running on to it.... point! 1st is done.

28 vs 2 points Freo up.

Watching this quarter was like banging my head against the wall.... painful and pointless.

On the bright side, Scully's hands are bloody amazing!!!

Knowing a whole year of this is making me Sick

Worst side so far in the Nab Cup

I think DB has to become a bit more attacking with his coaching. Always putting numbers behind the ball, and we go forward to an empty forward line every single time. Im not sure how that will win us games.

Posted

So our game plan is to once again play 2 behind the ball, have no forward line and try and run it forward........FAIL!

If that's the game plan, It's going to be a long year.

Again.

No structure No workable fowardline. In fact our whole team deserted our

half of the ground and spent it in the dockers half. Very very very concerning a quarter

with just 2 points I expected more.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
