Gameday - Melbourne v Carlton

Featured Replies

Blues by 41 points at 3/4 time.

Fevalenko came alive there with 3 in about 5 minutes. Anyone know who was on him for that period? Was reasonably well held up to half time, but now it's looking like it'll be one of his better games ever. He's assisted in a couple along with his 6.

I can't believe Jamar has kicked 5. What the hell is going on?!!

Jamar WTF??!!!

McLean up forward is comical and poor McNamara got done by Fevola.

This stadium is [censored] and Carlton supporters are a bunch of wankers.

The end of this season can't come quick enough.

Terrible news about Wheels :(

ok Bails.... lets let the kids play properly

Looking at a ten goal loss, which is probably still a pretty good result given the injury list, and the fact that when we were competing in the first half with the correct positional moves, we were keeping up quite well.

Would also like to know who picked up Gibbs and Garlett in the second half, as they have been largely kept out of it.

One more week to go until we know if it's pick 1 + 2 or not.

I'm on here all the time, and I've never heard that nickname.

Ssssssssssssssss ... scccccccccccccccccccc ... scuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu ... sculllllllllllllllllllllllllllll ... sculllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll .... SCULLY!!!

great mark..good goal Robbo

4th goal equals Lyons... Same amount of games.

do none of our guys understand SHEPHERDING !!!

I use that name for him all the time.

FOR WHO?!!!

Davey?

I use that name for him all the time.

I wish Bailey would leave our club. Nothing I have seen of him to date suggests he'll ever be a good match day coach.

Robbo is really sticking it up him though.

Forget about Jamar, now Robbo is making himself look like he might be a chance for a trade! If I was the Dogs I'd be excited to get him!

Weird scoreline. We should be ashamed at letting an incredible 22.9 - 141 through for the opposition, but we've done ok to snare 14.6 ourselves. If we were to get 100 points in a 7 goal loss... what can you say about that?

Like I said, weird scoreline, but I'll take it. :D

jurrahhhhhhhhhhhhhh mercurial :)

Only player to kick 5 goals in a game this year ... so far

Robbo too now!

Hey i know! Lets get rid of him, cause were used to being crap and making crap decisions

-so why not continue the trend? <_<

Eade has ruled it out !!

AHAHAHAHAH!

Good thing he's not trying to show you.

You'd probably need Mark Fine to point it out before you'd believe it.

You really shouldn't show off your lack of understanding of the game like that, it only embarrasses you.

Eade has ruled it out !!

Bugger. Must have missed that. Maybe the Blues?!!! :D

Perhaps we shouldn't have told him he was done. Now that everyone knows he won't be at MFC they won't trade much.

:D

He is a muppit - has no club loyalty, is so desperate to hang onto his job, he'd rather player players out of position than win.

Tell me what stunning tacticts has he shown in his two years at the club?

His famous game plan is still that, a pie in the sky.

Me don't need to embarrass myself when I can leave that to the coach.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
