Not sure but i dont remember Green ever being on the footy show? Is this his debut?

I would think so mousey. Robbo's about the only MFC player who gets on the panel these days. Good to see Greeny there.

I'm tipping his contract will come up.....

True. I hope the Dees raise heaps tonight.

Nope I am almost certain he has been on at least once before :) !!!

Fair enough - I can't remember seeing him on there :o

PS. Get my reply? :)

i think he has been on once before but didnt say much

the only other panelists currently at the club have been aaron davey (2005 i think??) and russell robertson a couple of times...

im hoping one of the current young crop will develop into a media friendly person to get the club out their a bit more

just got a phone call from nathan jones about donating, so i did my part!!

lets get this going tonight, excited now :D

i have a feeling that he will hardly talk apart from one small snippet from about debt demolition

Fevola as well. That will stop me from watching, rather watch vomit dry.

PS. Get my reply? :)

I did and it made perfect sense, but still doesn't change my mind ;) !!!

Hopefully Greeny will be a bit more vocal, but with Fevola (urrgh) on the panel it could be very difficult.

Anyway its good to finally have a body on there, it happens so rarely  !!!

Your right so far...

Can anybody who watches the Footy Show every week tell me how many times Fev's been on it this year. It feels to me like at least 15 times.

Quite right Chook. He seems a part of the furniture now at the FS. Unfortunately.

Great.

but still doesn't change my mind ;) !!!

That's fine - I wasn't trying to :P

yeah he's been on a couple of times before, he was overawed by who he was on with, he's jammed in between 2 loudmouths and then Sam going off but l reckon he did okay

How is it that the 'media community' can mouth off endlessly about players being bad role models, doing stupid and anti-social things, and yet not one has ever bothered suggesting that maybe one of the worst behaved players over the last few years should not be constantly up in front of the camera getting endless attention and praise?

Meh. I see it as an illustration of excitable but superficial media. Personally I don't really give a stuff about player behaviour beyond the basic expectations I have of any person in the community.

Like, not pissing on windows... or headlocking bartenders... or being really, really ugly.

Oh, it's all so complicated.

You're talking about Fev, not Green, right?

Even better, why shouldn't they, as community spokespersons, be held up to the same amount of scruitiny.

I suspect that there would be a number of 3-strikes-and-outs.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
