  1. Angry after all that comes to fruition, in which year do we then win the flag?
  2. Biff I did offer to use my obvious position in society to pull some strings for BBO but then I was asked to give a character reference, well you will understand my reticence, surely. We only need to wait for a few more days, hope he doesn't see my comments.
  3. BBO no I didn't catch up with Special. I did a complete circuit of the lower level to see if I could spot Bob but the only people I saw seated backwards were dressed in orange and apparently were GWS tribal types who had no idea where to look! They are very new to our game apparently. Unless Bob decided to dress in orange to throw me off the scent?
  4. And I thought it was me attending that broke the hoodoo. Glad I made effort although I usually like to sit up on the third level to get a better view but that was shut!
  5. DC I keep a constant watch around here for those types and I think I can safely say there aren't any Fitzroy BB types around here that I can identify.
  6. I have to report in that I have finally got down the coast after two months or so to find that the banana crop is dead as a dodo. The banana blight has reached the Surf Coast it seems. I have cancelled the handshack contract of course and will be seeking reparations for my lost profits.
  7. Biffen glad to hear about your community values. I too devote much of my precious time to help the fallen in my community. My tax free trust provides counselling for troubled hipsters, unemployed baristers and failed street artists in my area. We hold regular sessions at Hammer and Tong in the mornings and Friday evening sessions at Madame Sou Sous in Fitzroy. Call it a passion of mine but I feel I should give something, tax deductible, back to my community.
  8. Hmmm it could be a young Bob Geldolf wearing a hoodie pre Live Aid. I think.
  9. Macca where has Kramer Gawn?
  10. Not a bad game today now that I reflect on it soberly after I have recovered. I have to admit I had put down a few sherbets by half time but I could have sworn I saw Prince Phillip when I came out the Men's at the third quarter break. I tried to run up to say hello but got taken out by some six foot plus transvestite dressed as old lady with grey hair and wearing a tiara! Never saw her flying elbow coming. Did anyone else see Sir Prince Phillip? Didn't think he was touring at the moment.
  11. He maybe our Jake Stringer, and come to be known as "the full package" Petracca!
  12. DC haven't you noticed Jazza is missing in action, Deefrog not heard of for ages, Biffen has undergone some sort of transmogrification, I mean things have turned a bit scary. BBO is not making any sense, although yes I admit that is normal. Anyway I am out of here the placevhas turned wierd.
  13. Guys just thought I would let you know I am in the back room again for episode 3 of Byzantium while others waste their time watching The Voice!!! Believe it or not. Hopefully The Voice ends sometime very soon. However happily I am still riding high from yesterday so I can handle being in exile in my own house.
  14. Let me just say I am aghast! That I would have anything to do with undies, really!
  15. Hey Guys Sad to say I am back here again in the cold back room watching episode 2 of Byzantium while SWMBO and assorted female relatives and friends watch that abomination The Voice! Why do they think I am a grump? Just because the Dees have been thumped and I have been dispatched to the back room. Oh and the city has just fallen in case you never knew!
  16. A mob I think.
  17. I think it is all symbolic Moonie and ominous. I would be wearing a cricket box in bed tonight myself but I know BBO is tougher than moi!
  18. And throw in this years first round pick before we know who it is while they still have their full value.
  19. I thought I saw him do a few slaps backwards into the open yesterday from ball ups around the ground, the problem was our guys weren't there for what shold be a set play as he can dominate on the throw ups and throw ins, a la Sandy. We need to learn to rove to his potential dominance.
  20. Close but I will go with Jakovitch myself. Yes he did do his back but I think some hard work would have got him back on deck. He was a goal kicking freak with a poor work ethic.
  21. No retainer Moons, just can vouch for the coffee, it is top shelf. Great coffee places deserve to be publicised because they are fairly rare.
  22. Good point Biff I am impressed with your empathy for our colonial friends in Timor Leste. But given I have now finished my bottle of red in the back room I am wondering how did we get here after I was watching Byzantium? After all I am still lamenting the fall of Constantinople in 1453.
  23. Whoops it is perhaps the ultimate fair trade coffee shop Biff. I have told the story before but again for your information the origins are from some Aussie peace keepers working in Timor Leste who stumbled on this valley in upland Timor and found these locals tending ancient wild coffee trees originally planted by the Portuguese a few centuries ago. Anyway the locals were being exploited and nothing for their beans but the OZ peace keepers bought a few hundred kilos at a fair price and brought them back to Coburg and so began the Coffee house. Good story I think but yes it may test your moral standards Biff.
  24. Good one bjDee by the way have you managed to ride your bike to the Wild Timor Coffee House in coburg yet? And you are right I am no longer feeling the cold even though there is no heater here! It must be the wine.
  25. I am just a mere Justinian to my wife's Theodora perhaps. If you know the story. Not that I want to be accused of being a lawyer or something. Far from it Justinian was about more than his revamping of the code.
