I think we will all be pleasantly surprised by how we go next season. We have all called for change in the whole team, me included. Tracc and Olivers contributions over last season can be covered. And will be. Only need some improvement from a few and it will be onwards and upwards.

I'd walk away from the deal and then he stays. End of story. Bridges can be mended, get em all in room a sort it out. Tell GWS to talk a long walk off a short pier.

I know this will be an unpopular view, but at this point, with seemingly no one on GCS list that is tradable, 7+8 might just be enough. We shouldnt be sending anything back to them, 7+8, nothing else. He doesnt want to play for us, if we hold him to the contract, we will be going through all this again in 12 months. Is that we we really want to do?????

It does seem as if some on here dont quite understand that this is the case. There is more than a few good players that will be available inside the top 15 that id be happy to get.

Couldnt have said it any better. It seems no accident that 3 most talked about players on here are the one being moved out. 1 by his own choice and the other 2 because of the issues attached to them that we all no. Its going to be be difficult to see CP and CO playing in other colours but we need clear air. If these 2 were to be still here in 12 months we would be going through the same BS again. We may not do any better next year than we did this year, but at least they will be united and hopefully get back to playing for both one another and the might Melbourne Football Club.

Exactly, the players available at so called pick 6 or 7 will still be there if the picks are pushed back to say 10 and 11. Academy and Father/Son pick dont make the available players disappear, only makes them available later. We could do worse than take 6+7, 2 of the better kids in this years draft. I wouldnt be happy about it but we may have to resign ourselves to the fact that if we want Tracc out, this maybe what we accept.

For those of us that dont want him gone, lets just hope that none of the deals are very appealing to us. I really dont see how any of them would be.

This does seem that we are weeding out all the troublemakers or the one who have brought controversies to the club. Im not blaming the players entirely, club must bear some responsibility. If this is what it takes to clear the air and have a playing and coaching group all going in the same direction, the so be it.

Jedd Walter or Ben King. GC can choose which one, I'm not fussed either way. If the are into Curnow or JUH, which they are, then no need for all these KFP.

MD516, 3 of our best 23? Id ask how much good first 23 football May has left? How many excellent defensive games did he play in '25? As for Tracc and Judd, Tracc, plenty of good footy left in him but the question marks about him again?????? Judd is just dead to me now, we gave him a start, sooked up cause he didnt get his way, move on. The MFC will be around long after these 3 are not playing. I agree there isnt much coming back our way but we still have some very very good young players and vets going around. Let see what the new regime can do with 100% committed playing group.

Would prefer Walters over another mid feilder.

Wouldnt disagree with this OD, but im really not sure we can go through this for the next few seasons if this trade doesn't happen this time around. If it doesnt haqppen, maybe he Tracc need to come out and say that "no trade will ever happen, im committed to MFC" and play his time out with our beloved club.

My 2 cents worth.... probably already been mentioned on here. Is it possible that the fracture in the playing group is partly his fault because of his onfeild antics???? Maybe coach King, with the CEO and other most likely, decided to clean house, move out the bad eggs. New coach, new CEO, new presidentand hopefully a new attitude in the playing group without a few of the big egos????????

Hate to say it, but if you are not invested in making our club better, then move on. If its Freos 2nd rounder then so be it, we need players who want to make a difference and play for the red and blue. Same goes for Tracc. Sick of all this BS every year.

Just a wild idea, why could Jai be a key forward for us, loves a big grab as we have already seen. Bigger than almost all our other supposed key forwards. Just as a reference, Logan Morris for Brisbane is 191cm, Jai is 194cm. JVR, Jai, Fritter, Jefferson/Kentfield, Kozzie, Chandler, Trac or another small and thats a forward line you could get some goals out of.

Do not sign BM, persevere with what we have, try the blokes we haven't. Anybody else but him.

If we are seriously talking to his management, I'm just about done, we all complain about our current lack of foot skills, this bloke doesn't help in anyway, shape or form. We need a midfield full of the young blokes we have, no point send Tracc anywhere if we are going to recruit Simpkin. Just no. Stay away. Can't crack Norths midfield, why would he gets a game there in ours.

My stepfather was from Adelaide and he used to say he was the most graceful, well balanced player he'd ever seen. He was capitan on Victoria in the early 80s when the Dees barely won a game, and he was BOG in most of those. Unbelievable skills. Hard to tackle, just simply a gun.
