  1. you finally got 2 things right 1/its my opinion hes a backstop 2/performance this series hasnt been to bad at all interesting you couldnt hold your breath long enough
  2. always wondered what it would be like if somebody held thier breath, you can go first seeing as you proposed the idea. see you next year maybe just going back to your post maybe im reading the wrong thread, but so far in this series,i havent seen to many knockers of lyon or haddin most people have been complimentry of thier cricket watto,as usual has copped a bit, because under pressure,he just doesnt cope and so far in his career has only made minor contributions when the heat has been on so,as your post suggests, should people all stand and make apologies for your comfort?or should OUR opinions be our opinions, make apologies, pppfffft year 6 at school finished ages ago,for most of us
  3. Deanox what i gathered from the paul dale testimony is the fact that the ACC dont have to share info this would make it rather difficult for asada,to piggy back on ACCs evidence. i would prefer the bombers done and dusted for 2 years
  4. it seems ,according to dales book, the ACC can use the evidence any way it wants also would note, they dont have to pass this evidence on to any other authority could be asada ,are hoping for the BREAK in the case to administer justice? we can only hope
  5. saw plenty to say ,your right FD,protected his frame last year got some games under his belt recovery from a hip complaint good pre with misson more abled bodies around him at senoir level dont have any debates about this issue
  6. found it big fella i think this has been lost on most people footy classified august 27th 6 mniutes and 20 seconds into the interview with bomber thompson "steven dank has a problem with asada and the AFL,he wont talk to them but has been talking to ACC 3 times" theres the money shot for ya paul dale quotes ACC can secret your testimony and it cant be used against you
  7. lyon is definately the interesting one so far this series he hasnt put a foot wrong made breakthroughs every time quite strange hes taken a 100 wickets and overcome a few hiccups, yet on the radio they dont espouse his efforts this series as for pup, still cops it from ponting, hayden, fleming and a few other ex players but now we are winning it seems to cover everything said about him. winning does excede all other scenarios so PMAN,who has knocked haddin this series,or for that matter talked him down this series? been watching the SA vs india series and noticed steyn, morkel and philander all bowl a good nut per over , but they dont seem to bowl lots of long tight spells like sids, harris would also back lyon over rob peterson
  8. yes, your right he is in with a chance for the allan border.wow how exciting for a batting backstop, event will be life changing for the whole country i dont compare it to other non aussie keepers, thats not even close to being a fair judgement but i can understand other non cricketing folk that compare statistics in the hope that it makes the game understandable to them you are still counting simple chances that keepers are expected to TAKE your definately still using his batting figures to pump up his station as a keeper. maybe the hydrolic hose {watto}needs you on his bandwagon to make him feel needed also.
  9. its not the ordinary catches that all keepers should take its the ones they miss, and dont make in this series hes made one and probably not made one,i mark that as even as for his batting ,no argument from anybody so far
  10. we need to develop a batsman and real quick clark, watto, rogers, wont be around much longer it takes about 35 tests to learn all the pitfalls, and this is what happened recently when we failed to inject a younger player for the good of the future,
  11. we will win the first 3
  12. the nose ring makes her acceptable but a tramp stamp would be icing on the cake
  13. your right big boy that thought never entered my mind smart thinking by the boof and clarkey and invers and marshy maybe our footy club could use this strategic nous
  14. expressed my thoughts on AOAA terrible decision for the team, lyons mates in the squad must have been devastated to see him dropped after being our best in the indian homework tour everybody, including boof said they knew AA could bat,if so why pick him at eleven yes macca ,its all sport and only sport, im just disappointed in the number 3 son not tractor driving and stopping me watch this series btw,im itchy if that makes you happy
  15. wow agreements left right and centre the current bowling line up hopefully ensures cummings, pattinson and starc get another 20 shield games under thier belt and more professional experience to lead the future attack dont know about doug the slug though, would rather pick CN as he may be on the SA tour been on the tractor most of the summer and only catching some highlights, but would not like to go back to old stock bowlers now.
  16. sorry macca ,may a thousand fleas invade my armpits credit to all involved{is that enough} we have the most consistent bowler in the world for the last 4 years{sids} we have a number 7 who is making mince meat out of average attacks{hads} we have a dwarf who has added backbone to the top 4{chrissy} weve had a non spinning spinner who has been performing very well and im glad for him{lysa} and a first time 4 test result bowler {mitchy} all in all the oppo{poms}have self incinerated and wrongly so so a big thumbs up to us{aussies} would you have picked AOAA in the first 2 tests in england?
  17. i dont hate but players not liked would be.watto, top of the list it must not have been written clear enough as always its pretty simple ,people are saying boof has been the turnaround of the team my response to that is everybody not me,but other happy campers on this site have said boofs the man.but his selection in the 2 most important tests in england were pitiful,so no arguments from me whether boof is the man or not,my only argument is if hes the man, then his decision in the first 2 tests in england were tragically WRONG but some people still love AOAA,its just thier dream i suppose
  18. interesting people are patting boof on the back this is the same bloke who dropped lyon for an untried /non shield wicket taking/non spinning/number eleven batsman in the first 2 ashes test in england, yes the very 2 tests that ultimately sealed our fate over there, the very same people who screamed that we could have won the ashes IF those first 2 tests went a different way so after dropping the best performing player from the disasterous indian tour for those 2 tests in england ,lyon is now brought back into the team and has been an incredible success now that the poms are in a corner curled up in a feotal position sucking thier thumbs, watto the hydrolic hose ,comes to the party against bowling attacks short of power, bit late for me he was slated to bat at 6 a couple of years ago and moaned in the press that he couldnt bat at 6.where he should be at least. against steyn, philander and mokbel our top four will battle and then smith and bad back will be under immense pressure to retrieve the situation,if not then we are back to relying on our number 7 to get us out of trouble AGAIN dont over indulge on the boof drink, its false admiration at best
  19. just finished the book written by paul dale he makes some interesting observations about the ACC firstly he quotes thier summons to appear log it states that its illegal to tell anybody that youve been summoned apart from your solicitor its illegal to divulge the fact that youve been questioned they also offer immunity to anybody they like in the race for information the ACC can draw on coercive powers which enable it to obtain information that cannot be accessed through traditional policing methods any witness that has appeared can give evidence in a case which involves themselves and it can be protected under the secrecy act,and not be used against them thought this may answer a few questions about why hasnt dank appeared before ASADA as yet i think he may have spilt his beans already and the ACC are about to fry bigger fish on the importation side of things this may explain the slow movement in the bombers/asada area
  20. maybe clarkes back was playing up and he had to bowl first petersons shot in the first dig was pitiful for a first class player our top four is still weak as puppys water
  21. clarke=bad back made him leave the ball pick 7 batsmen =covers all weaknesses watson=cant be dropped ,to much value to opposition with his sookyness as i said earlier winning covers all cracks but nothing covers the total stupidness of the last 2 tours
  22. so do most of the team but winning overrides everything bit like batsmen wearing keepers gloves really, the press quickly forget the unanswered questions from the last 2 tours but it is special when he tells us he loves playing for strayyya
  23. yep, we have our whipping boy for the next 5 years introduced to the FD.3 preseason training regime,to bring us into the real world recruited the right big type of big money players, forget the average ones.every club recruits them put new FD plans into place for the future of the club but unfortunately couldnt handle the coaching and had no people skills always after what people term disaster comes the period of enlightenment, the new coach gets the kudos ,the old gets no pats on the back for doing the hard yards. im ok with some of the things he did and bear no malice towards him
  24. no it wasnt in reference to mahatir biff was talking about christmas work break up parties of yesteryear his geography is limited to the city and its 4 neighboring suburbs
  25. lucky he played golf and kicked his ball out of a tough lie IMAGINE IF HE BOWLED?
