  2. Ask any player and he will tell you its either the money or finals that motivate, not im glad i was in the bottom team for my career, but now im really happy to be retired and watch them come good pfffft
  3. are you a member and if so please direct your anger at the trading of rivers to geelong and picking up rodan, this is to be brought up at committee level asap I may have been a supporter/ member of this club a little longer (in fact 50 Years) and I assure you it WAS once a GREAT Club, which is partly the reason I am saddened to see how it has slowly virtually self destructed.
  4. yep, we have to be transparent and work out where we want to be. if cutting names happens so be it, lets just get open and throw some knives and build a future
  5. cut names from the list now. tell the members that the coaches mandate will be to play youth, advertise for an administrater to run the club,no mores quick fixes and no more excuses , i promise to stick by the club with honesty and ethics,
  6. not happy with anything ive written
  7. we appointed a coach and set no recruitment parameters, dave rodan will not ensure our present or future teams. j rivers could be a suitable recruit for the knitting together of the backline players such as grimes, trengrove garland, watts.mitch clark has to be made captain asap, garry lyon is not allowed to be able to be in a position of chief headkicker for 6 weeks and then walk away with clean hands. we had a football manager alredy doing the job , but being on the cusp of finals under bailey wasnt good enough for our gazza.and finally, importing a coach who s only ideas were already being used by collingwood, does not breed success. i have been in the committee position and you have to either get better ot get out.
  8. first things first, jimmy was in terrible condition and unfit to run afootball club and all his so called close mates didnt put thier hand up to help, this was a telling sign. we then had :i dont want the job garry lyon: virtually sack the football manager who was appointed by the committee and stay 6 weeks and throw petrol on the fire without any responsibility. we then appoint a coach that has shared any innovations he has with his previos club, thus putting them 3 years ahead of us. and what parameters was he given for recruitment,i would of thought youth and teaching, but no he gets rodan who could win a middle of the road team 3 games as a sub, but thats not what we need with this list. he then sees geelong have lost thier backline glue scarlett and trades them a ready made replacement that we have watched making mistakes for the last 5 years growing into a dependable defender.this is not what any other team is about and the signs are worrying that the last person out should switch off the lights.i went to a game last year with a great collingwood person who said , frawley sylvia and davey would be pulled aside and told that they are bludgers and getting free games at the club, his comment was we at collingwood trade or mark thier papers for holding teamates in such contempt
