McVee is out of contract end of 2025. Without being shot down, I have it on pretty good authority that he will be asking to return home/play for West Coast after this contract expires. I would imagine the club will be trying everything they can to retain Judd - given how good he has been in his first two years in the AFL side. FWIW, Woewodin also put feelers out to WA clubs given limited opportunity/setting record for most games as starting sub last year. I hope that both of these don't eventuate and would like to think the large contingent of young WA talent will stick together.

Having spoken to a Werribee coach about Hendo missing, he said it was between Johnson and Hendo. Said we can be VERY excited about Johnson, who comes into a full time environment with plenty of room for improvement and stops bending over/working all day as a tradie. Said he is an absolute brute who can play forward in the AFL almost straight away.

We have 4 rookies (Verrall, Sestan, Hore, Brown) plus AMW (cat B) and then Kentfield (MSD Rookie). Max is 6 cat A and then 2 cat b... Ricky Mentha might count as a cat b/nga?

With Carlton taking Draper, there is no chance we get Langford. Seems to me like if North take Tauru early, we will be choosing between O'Sullivan and Reid.

Watch out for Jack Henderson. Werribee VFL - won the BoG medal in GF that Mannagh won. We interviewed him (Geelong the other) and he said it went really well. I hope we get him!

Love the work you've done here, but when you have two top 10 picks, you go best player in the draft. So if there are players better than Tauru, he won't be picked then.
