  1. Red and Blue Flame started following Dannyz
  2. Don't disagree, but I'm hoping that Windsor is the next Max Holmes
  3. The shortlist has not been confirmed (i.e the final 2)
  4. Makes a lot of sense. Henderson's ball use is far superior. He was made the scape goat after our 0-5 start. He wasn't given a mid role at Casey, where he predominantly played at Werribee with HB which saw him get drafted. He was starved as a high HF then had groin issues the 2nd half of the year. Cheap and easy option to keep as a rookie.
  5. I posted this in December of last year. As it stands, things have not changed. There have been plenty of to-ings and fro-ings, and people claiming they have spoken to Judd and that he is staying. There has been a contract put to him which he has refused to sign. Make of that what you will. Also - this is not me saying "I hope he goes". I never want to lose players with potential or players that have played well. I hope we keep him, but he seems an obvious one to trade should we be trying to get back into the draft.
  6. I'll agree with you on one thing - we had spud fowards
  7. I have. And he will not be adding anything to our team or list. There is a reason he has not played a game at GWS in nearly 4 years
  8. @Dannyz any update on who the 6 that include Buckley are?
  9. Yes - and he does not enthuse me at all. Could almost say that about (insert name here) - and give you a long list of blokes that might go ok at VFL level but aren't up to AFL. Jack Billings.
  10. What is the club's obsession with this bloke? We've already got JVR and Jefferson. The bloke has shown nothing Tim Lamb must have photos. I cannot for the life of me see how he stays if the new CEO is about accountability.
  11. For one, I would hope that had we inflicted that level of pain onto Geelong that our players would walk taller/many of our supporters wouldn't blink if Gawn or Oliver did something like that in jest. Having said this, no one knows the context of what Kelly was actually doing - it could have been a joke within part of the playing group, it could have been him joking that winning was getting boring - it certainly did not seem like a dig at Melbourne. This would have ZERO bearing on the coaching selection process.
  12. absolutely spot on. Ridiculous some of the commentary here
  13. agree - but regardless, Richardson has to go. He and Tim Lamb are the final pieces of the messy puzzle
  14. Appreciate that mate. One thing I would say about Kelly, is that he has seen a successful environment at Geelong as a player and as a coach. Living down here and knowing a few of their staff through my workplace/working in football, they have very clear but different philosophies on how to get the best out of footballers. I would be very happy with him...
  15. Mark Neeld was a good choice according to Mick Malthouse... Fagan saying Daly is excellent means nothing IMO. Has has been mentioned, think David Noble as well. It's hit and miss.
  16. Quick one - you don't have King on this list. So out of Gia and Montgomery for the 6th spot if we take a combo of Dannyz and news stories...? Well done though :)
