Yep, Brodes could have come on and played the winning minutes that action Jackson played that won us a flag.
  2. Stating the obvious, recruiting has been poor, there is nobody developing at Casey. Players running up the ground just blindly lob it to the goal front, that said, Forwards stand around like a stale bottle.
  3. The Axe: Chandler, Spargo, Billings. Shack. Injured: Bowey. In: Kosy, Big Brown, Little Brown, Tommy, Woey. On Notice: Van Rooyen. Must stop trying to be Tommahawk. Lead up the ground, keep in front, attack the ball overhead with soft hands. Go to the ball carrier, maybe view some old footage of Neita leading to the ball. If you must hit the pack split it open, they’ll soon look over their shoulder.
  4. Van Rooyen is a liability, ive seen enough.
  5. Van Rooyen, all puff and no huff, useless.
  6. Expecting big things from the Shackenator.
  7. It can be irritating when May and Lever feel they must have an on ground postmortem after every opposition goal,
  8. I wonder what the blue between Max and Goodwin was about. Didn't look good.
  9. Huge crowd at the Caulfield Blue Diamond. Entertained by Scotty Pippen, shooting hoops. How many players did we have there? No kick to kick, no handing out MFC footies and key rings, no MFC dog leads, no free children’s memberships. How many schools and playgrounds did we visit? Marketing is vital if the club is going to pull it off. Disregard the growing resentment against the club at your own peril.
  10. There you go. A couple of suits having lunch doesn’t make a deal. No attention paid to the grassroots, the citizens of GlenEira. It wasn’t that long ago Caulfield were kicked out of the VFA because they couldn’t find the numbers to field a team. Let the folks walk their dogs and feed the birds, and don’t tread where you’re not welcome. .
  11. Time to stop the blubbering, before our season is derailed by it.
  12. Well worth signing the Texan.
  13. It’s a non issue. There would be standard injury retirement clauses in the contract. MFC provide private health insurance for its players, covering lost wages. There are also entitlements under the workers Compensation Act for injuries in the workplace. A similar injury happened to Belly, who was compensated.
  14. Well, you can wallow in your sorrow. Strength in adversity..
  15. Hope he’s ok, “enjoy your life lad”.

It looks great, I wonder if the MFC can have sole use as needed, or is it a community centre as well. Would like to see some inside pics, of the gym and pool.
  18. Why isn’t anybody talking about this?
  19. The match wasn’t a tactical game as such. The coaches are still having a look and sorting through the players for round one. Don’t read anything into the scores.
  20. Didn’t predict last years debacle either.
  21. W.A teams had a good look, and said no.
  22. Big news from right wing nut jobs, yeh we will kick a community in the guts because some people in cheap suits have shared a buffet.
  23. I’ve written extensively on this matter in the main training ground thread. Maybe you should do some research before firing blanks as you said, or see a doctor. My thoughts on a partnership, being the involvement in a venue featuring the mistreatment of horses/animals are widely known. The club (Peter Jackson) spent many years extracting us from gaming venues, only for this lazy bored to jump back in at the first opportunity. I had also canvassed the possibilities of setting up a massive training centre in Williamstown on land that has been abandoned since the war. I suspect this will go straight over your head, and please don’t be so rude in future, no need for that.
  24. Caulfield will be a massive blunder, throwing good money after bad.
