You can see the money falling out of the umpires pockets
-
They better get the crowd attendance now because at 3qr time there may only be 200 left
-
The umpires are pathetic!
-
We need to burry them we another 2 goals
-
Ar you [censored] kidding me not 15m again! That was 25m!
-
Even with Adelaide supporters for umpires - they still suck

Kennedy Harris could side step an elephant!

Viney eats Diamonds for breakfast!

I love how he gets a few meters ahead of his opponent - then uses that lovely leap and clean hands.

I don't usually have sauce with my coffee - maybe that's just me.

Match Preview and Team Selection - round 7

No to be disrespectful to Georgiou but I think that is because most of the time he looks for the easy kick (sideways or backwards). Maybe he is trying to play it safe and keep his spot in the team. -

Agreed - but I would say there have been more than subtle changes. I like the clubs new - 'by the numbers' articles: Loss margin is great - if you take out the WCE game. I have to keep telling myself all that I wished for over the preseason was a competitive side this year and so far we have got that. -
http://demonland.com/forums/index.php?/topic/23707-lucas-cook/?hl=%2Blucas+%2Bcook hells bells: "Personally looking at the footage, I thought he moved a little like J. Brown." Maybe I'm just hopeful..." ChaserJ: "The Cook over Darling selection makes a lot of sense and BP clearly rated Cook a better fit ahead of guys like Watson and Luke Mitchell (who I liked). Anyone else think he plays a bit like Pavlich?" That was only on the first page.

Under Neeld - anything is possible (except success) -
Yes - I wonder if it would have had made any difference to Watt's or Morton

I think its been a well-known problem for sometime - he just doesn't do enough defensively. I see him as a bit of a selfish player and if you are going to be a selfish player you have to be really good (Stevie J) "Sam Blease: Sam played wing and half-forward and had 16 possessions. Sam’s focus has been to gain more possessions in the forward half of the ground. He did that the previous week, but was unable to back it up this week. Defensively, he had some major lapses during the game and we know he’s much better than that."

A lot of the comparisons are hilarious if you take the time to look back at those threads
-
Was just joking - but some examples were nearly if not just as bad
-
I had the same reaction - I don't want to jump to conclusions after one game but I loved his kicking and that goal where he kept his balance and seemed to play as a bigger player then he is. I will keep expectations at bay for now as we have had several players play good first games. http://www.afl.com.au/match-centre/2014/6/melb-v-syd

Please don't start with the comparisons. It has never ended well in the past: Gysberts - Judd Morton - Goodes Lucas Cook - Jonathon Brown

http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2014-04-29/dave-misson-rd-7-update "Just got a knock above the knee... so its a bit swollen... we expect him to train Thursday and play on the weekend" (probably be VFL)

Can't really go wrong there. He looks so useless out there - I can't believe he is our equal leading goal kicker (even if 4 of those 5 goals came from cheap handballs into the goal square). Shows that we really need to fix up that forward line - Dawes and Frawley inclusions are a start.
-
IMO - the difference between Nicho/Mckenzie/Tappy and Strauss is that Strauss has the potential to be a good player at AFL level. Thats obviously just my opinion and Roos will have his own - I look forward to seeing what Roos does with the list at the end of the year.
-
Thats - interesting. From reports Strauss was playing well down back - maybe they are testing his versatility. I would still like to see him and Harmes get some consistent AFL games. I would much rather see these guys then Byrnes, Mckenzie, Nicho etc.

So typical - last week Goodes and this week Walker. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-04-28/tex-confident-of-afl-return Hope he doesn't get up - we have the potential to gain some real momentum with the Crows, Dogs and Tigers.
