  1. Maybe if you ignore the slight difference in size..... Wayne Carey: Height: 1.92 m Weight: 97 kg JKH: Height: 1.73 m Weight: 68 kg
  2. I don't think they got the red right - back to the drawing board
  3. I have never thought Spencer was AFL quality - to my surprise he has built a bit of a following this year. Yes he gives it 100% but just lacks the class to be an AFL player. Edit: .... I did say the same about Pederson - however I still expect Pederson to be pushed out of the team (once you put Frawley and Garland in the backline Pederson and Georgiou will become depth)
  4. I don't think we should jump the gun with Gawn - could be anything and could be nothing
  5. Shes brave - might be able to add one to crowd attendance
  6. If Lynch was wearing a helmet cam it would have looked something like this:
  7. I really couldn't careless who gets it - hasn't worked out well for us in the past. He played well and that's all that matters - hope he can keep it up
  8. MRP - video sounded positive + with all this media they might be forced to drop this one. http://www.afl.com.au/video/2014-05-05/charged-round-seven I like Matt Thompson - reports the facts nothing else and is unbiased (a rare quality in the world of media)
  9. Not Vineys fault someone let him out of the cage
  10. Poor kid - will probably play like Morton for the rest of his career.
  11. If Gillon McLachlan wants to change the face of football or show that he understands the football community- then he can start here.
  12. Yer that kid makes Morton look tough
  13. I know its a terrible thing to think about but if we do get a big crowd do the proceeds go to us or BCNA? Look forward to this game - don't know if i have any pink though.
  14. http://www.afl.com.au/video/smart-replay?round=CD_R201401407&matchId=CD_M20140140704 That Jenkins goal at 16:50 3rd quarter was an absolute gift from the umpires - was a real momentum changer (reducing the margin to 15 points). They really need to clear up this holding the ball rule - I for one hate the fact that they are pinning people without prior but if they are going to do it they have to be consistent.
  15. 13th - unless we absolutely smash the dogs and Carlton just beat Stk (we would need to jump from 71.8% to +80%) Anyway not that it really matters - The dogs have actually played alright this year (they have had a tough draw so far). Apart from the Wce game they have been very competitive. Will be stoked if we beat them next week - and I am afraid optimism may get the better of me (just a heads up). If we can beat the dogs then we can steamroll a pathetic tigers outfit.
  16. Is it just me or do Casey games always seem to be a seesaw affair?
  17. Yes - just when I was beginning to doubt his spot in the side - he went back to that loose defender role and did it well. For the first time since Jarred Rivers left we seemed to always have a loose defender in the backline.
  18. This kid puzzles me - never see him get the ball - then look at the stats at the end and he has like 30 touches. Think I might watch the game again - going to watch this kid closely next week. Best thing is the kid has only played 20 games - not even a full season.
  19. Dunn been in good form - don't want to risk that. As America de cali said Frawley may not be here next year anyway so if we can get use to playing without him then good (Garland would help).
  20. To be honest I have kind of given up on him and Tappy or at least rather pay attention to those who show something at VFL. Maybe Roos will be able to resurrect their careers
  21. Ok thats good - its amazing that you can't skip through the video on the AFL website (apart from skipping to goals - sometimes there are only 1-2 goals a quarter)
  22. Want to see big games from Garland, Gawn, Riley, Kent, Toumpas, Strauss and Clisby. These are the guys I think should be playing AFL
  23. Agreed - I have been calling for Byrnes to be dropped for a while but there really wasn't anyone to bring in. I think we will see either one or no changes - no changes would be a big statement from Roo's. Would show he backs this group of players. As much as I would love Roos to make that statement I would also like to see a few play AFL: Garland, Gawn, Riley, Kent, Toumpas, Strauss/Clisby, We still have AFL quality players to come in but how many people can you drop after a game like that? Roos did say Georgiou was tired after 7 rounds (big step up from SNAFL or whatever) - so that could be a change without emission (call it rest). Outs: Georgiou - rest Byrnes - for the simple fact we have better players Ins: Garland - providing he shows form at casey Riley/Kent/Toumpas - depending on VFL form Tempting to also bring in Strauss/Clisby so Howe can go back to the forward - for a game where we expect to get decent i50's and now have 2 key forwards (Howe would now be the 3rd tall)
  24. I loved how by the time Georgiou and Lynch hit the deck Viney has gathered the ball and is bulldozing his way through a pack.
  25. That kid Dangerfield would be nice: http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl/crows-star-patrick-dangerfield-rules-out-contract-extension-this-season/story-fnia3xzy-1226860021317 ConVince him to return to Victoria.
