Brayshaw played, was the usual solid Gus game in the backline.

Lines for autographs are ridiculous already, crowd building nicely.
-
Watching McVee reminded me of Ricky Petterd, his movement was similar.
-
Solid game first up. McVee impressive and Grundy will get better, that was his first competitive match for a while. Petty is still very good one on one back there.

A poster the other day mentioned on here the Giants didn't want to travel to Ballarat. That's the only thing I've seen on it.

Yep, I’m switching over to watch the Weid.

Cats 72 Hawks 29 at half time. Cats look close to full strength. Hawks I wouldn’t have a clue. Cats’ new recruits in Bruhn, Bowes and Henry have been impressive so far. I know it’s only Hawthorn they’re playing, but good to have some footy back on the box.

The crying emoji worries me WCW. Hope it’s not too serious.

Thanks Stu, did scroll to number and I like it, only thing is they’re a tad inaccurate…we didn’t win the first 13 games of 2022.

T Macs form was actually very good pre injury rjay. It was pre omission when it wasn’t so flash. He had 4 in the 5 first games then after returning kicked 2,2,4 and 3 in the same game he got injured in. 11 in his last 4 games, I thought he was a huge loss in the second half of season. I’m also excited by JVR and see what he can bring, but happy to wait. Unlikely doesn’t mean no, still a bit to play out until the Dogs opener.

Lyon, Plugger, D Jarman just to name a few were pure footballers and great to watch. Players like them oozed skill and that’s why I enjoy watching Fritsch go about it every weekend. Reminds me of the pure talents when I was growing up. Now it’s more about power athletes imo. -

Kozzy Pickett Re-Signs for 4 Years
Dee Zephyr replied to Timothy Reddan-A'Blew's topic in Melbourne Demons
Don’t think I’ll ever forget a player that was involved in the first premiership I’ve seen, even if they pizz off to another club. -

The first play of this draft highlight package is one people probably won’t ever forget, I would have drafted him for that alone. -
Wow Macca, I had no idea. I stopped following the horse once mate got out of it in 2021. It is flying since it went to Darwin by the look of it. Funny you mention it today too, same mate has a runner in the last at Canterbury tonight, Nominator.

Thanks @Slartibartfast. Now that the season is getting close the prospect of Gawn and Grundy playing together is certainly building the excitement. From all your and others reports it sounds like they're very competitive against each other. They showed a Pies/Ess match from 2019 on TV the other day and I forgot how good Grundy was back then.

This was one artist's impression of the redevelopment couple of years ago. Didn't realize how spacious the inner part of the track was.

If you decide to change it please don’t include anything Pickett related.

Yep…so close to having 🍌🍌🍌🍌 this campaign.

Didn't pull up the boss because he was the first to point it out on this thread. Anyway, a lot like playing fastest finger on here.

I would love it if posters read through the whole thread to make sure they don't repeat something that's been pointed out already.
