Wouldn’t blame any supporter for being a little filthy about that performance. Not sure how our forwards are meant to mark skyscrapers. Whatever the method was today, it wasn’t good. Port weren’t even that good, they were a lot smarter.

That was one of the better VFL games to watch in terms of standard. Not the usual scraps we often see, it was free flowing with good skill on show from both sides. Kalani certainly made you take notice in the last, especially when the game was still up for grabs. He had a snap at the goals from the pocket in the third which he missed, but the technique reminded me of his dad instantly.

Congrats Garry. I remember a game in the early 90s, we had a pretty ordinary start to the year and we were looking down the barrel of another loss at 3/4 time against the Bears/Lions from memory. Garry was thrown into the middle in the last and completely changed the game and we ended up winning. That’s how good he was.

Having 4 umpires has ruined it, all of a sudden we have 4 different interpretations even though they are taught the same rules. I almost threw my beer at them in disgust when they came nearby, but I remembered it cost me $12.

It might’ve looked like he was blasting Lindsay for that 50 on TV, but at the ground the player he was upset about during that play was Disco for allowing them to get out the back in the first place. He continued speaking to Disco after they scored the resulted goal which he has every right to do when keeping the structure.

Fritsch did not burn his teammate in that play, the mistake he made was to play on. He didn’t realise Quaynor was that close to him, he’d barely taken two steps before he was closed down. Should’ve gone back and taken the set shot. That’s the way I saw it from ground level and I thought that was his best game of the year by a mile.

Goody often speaks about ‘moments’ and unfortunately we had a few we wish we could take back. We lost it, they didn’t win it. It was a super effort by our boys to fight back from 20 down with the crowd behind them. Proud and a little shattered, the boys deserved better.

Best thing the AFL has done was to make the announcement of tomorrow’s game 20 hrs prior to bounce. Can you imagine two days of this shiiittt on pregame?

It is what Collingwood do without the ball that makes them hard to beat i believe, they just don't stop running. In saying that, I still think we will have a decent crack at them.

I reckon Disco would be a good matchup for Elliott as he can seriously jump for marks that guy.

Maybe the answer is to aim for behinds next week against the Pies, small problem might be kicking it out on the full.

I reckon most if not all of the Saints goals came within 25m of the sticks. We got smashed on transition and allowed them almost 400 possessions. A very frustrating day.
