First task by the new coach should be to cut out the silly snaps and around the corner kicks in the pre-game warm up. Remember reading an article last year on Breust, it mentioned he had a very simple and effective way of practising goal kicking prior to a match. About 15-20 shots from 20-30m directly in front. Getting the basics right, working on technique rather than trying to slot goals from M57 Olympic Stand. I know we aren’t the only team that does this but it still bugs me big time. -
Cheers for the updates fellas, managed to watch a couple of the races on the phone. Only the one bet today and it was on Rox The Castle. Not all was lost though, was given a bonus bet for running second, it’s going on Monkey. Black Heart Bart hey, the camera panned to a couple of relaxed people ( connections I’m guessing) in the stands immediately after the race and they both just glanced at each other with what looked like a bit of a “Did we just win the race?”, or maybe they were quietly confident of a good showing and it was some kind of cheeky grin. Without taking anything away from the winner in the Underwood I thought Homesman was very good after enduring a 3 wide trip for the majority.

Anyone live near Swan St? Reading some of the celebrations got out of hand last night, flares, burning of cardboard signs mocking Toby Greene on rooftops, fans headbutting, punching and biting cops. Credit to Jack, this is what perseverance looks like. After all the mishaps with his injuries he stayed on our list for as long as possible and managed to make a second AFL list for a couple of years. He put up some incredible numbers in the SANFL this season and was probably unlucky not to play a few more games for Port. If he continues playing footy somewhere he would be a great benefit to that club and all the best Jack.

All good and well tweeting players have agreed to terms with a new club, I would like to see them state when this arrangement actually occurred. Can’t imagine Tomlinson in probably the biggest week of his sporting life just ducked out of the team meeting to text a ‘yes I’m on board in 2020’ to the Dees.

A friend’s horse is racing at Flemington tomorrow in the 1st ‘Zesty Belle’ Macca. He’s pretty excited about its chances, not a tip by any means, it is a race full of first starters after all where the steward’s horse might even beat them home. We’ll see if it’s worth following in the spring.

Interesting about Crouch Chaser. Would he be worth the Suns’ late first rounder (17 as it stands) in your opinion? You’d think the Crows would play a bit of hardball. If indeed it does eventuate, adding Ellis and possibly Crouch along with Picks 1 & 2 would have them improving next year one would think.

Even one of my little ones is getting in on the fun. She told me fans attending the GF will have to pack their own lunch for the game as there won’t be any Pies there.
