First time I’ve seen him lead at the ball carrier since 2016, he’s looking good.

Number one for me is Mark Williams coming in and doing 20 minutes of skills at the start of every training session. -

May charged and fined for striking Buddy?

If nothing happens to Rampe that’s a disgrace. Although Fritsch was allowed to be hit behind play so it wouldn’t surprise me. -

They would have been even better if they did win centre clearances. -

Exactly, may as well start each centre bounce with an opposition free kick. -

Just think what Cripps will do to us next week from the centre. Cripes. -
It’s two weeks in a row where it has looked like we were second to the ball too often which is a concerning trend.

Great thread. Major alarm bells were going off last week when we decided to let Cunnington do as he please. Sadly, nothing changed this week and perhaps that’s just a result Viney being out but either way it’s a huge issue that needs to be fixed ASAP. In fact, it’s remarkable that we are so bad with the best ruckman in the game and so many competitive beast midfielders. The issue with losing centre clearances is it essentially a free inside 50 to the opposition with even numbers. -
It got them the first goal early in the last which got them back right into the game.
-
True, but the problem with losing centre clearances is it is almost a guaranteed opposition inside 50 with even numbers because of the 666 rule.
-
I feel (based on zero evidence) that Gawn wins more hit outs but Jackson is better at nullifying opposition ruckmen.

Of all the embarrassing records this one just about takes the cake.

Centre clearances still give me nightmares (clear as day it was going to be a major issue against Norf), but thank God for Tom McDonald.

I’m still getting over Oliver kicking off his left from a free kick under no pressure.

I’m so annoyed about Fritsch kicking into the man on the mark. I’m furious. It should NEVER happen.

Losing centre clearances 6 to 1. What a shock.

Another pathetic Richmond crowd on a perfect Friday.

It’s no coincidence that Geelong look a lot better with Cameron and Higgins in the team.

Selwood should get weeks for that.

Bayley Fritsch cleared of striking

I’m still in shock that the player who hit him behind play didn’t even get looked at. -

Wasn’t it mentioned that Cunnington concussed a player and got it lowered low impact, is that right? -
I’ve been banging on about it but the two most important parts for me are centre clearances (Kennedy in particular) and putting pressure on Sydney when they have the ball so they don’t cut up our zone with keepings off.
