Do you mean when a play has or has not had prior opportunity. Remember, when a player has not had prior opportunity they only need to attempt to dispose of the ball.

Better than the 52,000 tonight. It’s Richmond’s home game and they have 100,000 members apparently. It’s a Friday night. Perfect weather in Melbourne all day. Playing against the undefeated Bulldogs.

Pathetic crowd number all things considered.

That snap by Rodman was much better than his haircut. -

I really hope Jones not dropped. -
No, I just mean lots of other teams like are having bad years and I think a big part of it is their injuries.

I think we are a top four team but unfortunately a lot of recent performances from other teams (not necessarily our opponents) have been heavily influenced by injuries to key players.

He’s certainly made me look like (even more of) a pickle. He’s excellent been this year and firmly cemented in the best 22. -

I realise that when we were losing I was quick to pile on Goodwin, so in turn I should praise him for winning. I also realise that it’s tough to truly know the impact that assistant coaches have. But when I heard Ed Langdon recently say that Mark Williams has introduced a lot more skills training (genuinely 20 years too late), I am not surprised as surprised by the improvement. The reason being that one of my observations on Goodwin was that he didn’t focus on the little things or the basics/skills of the game. He appeared to be more focused on the strategy and game plan. Therefore, now we have someone a bit more old school who can help us get the basic right it is allowing us to properly implement the strategy and game plans implemented by Goodwin. In summary, we have finally got the balance right.

They probably will also complain about the fact we essentially traded Dom Tyson for Ben Brown. -
Screw that, I’m just enjoying the moment.

Saying “it’s only April” or similar when your team has just been well-beaten is the most sour grape loser mentality from opposition supporters.- 301 replies

Top 5, possibly top 3.

Kicking is still a bit iffy but agreed he’s settled into his role well.

I got a bit emotional seeing him chaired off after the game. I don’t think he’s close to being dropped, people here still don’t value leadership and experience which he brings in spades.

In hindsight I should have given Hibberd votes for his job on Martin.

So he should.
