  1. If you fancy being less 'lazy" there is a group of volunteers who chase Memberships on a Tuesday night
  2. So read nothing into the performance of Oliver and Brayshaw? Garlett kicked 40 odd goals the year before and yes he had a poor year last year, but until he hurt himself, he was in better form than both ANB and Spargo at Shepparton
  3. Viney has had a few drills with the main group over the last couple of weeks
  4. What they decided was as he was going to get one knee done, they may as well fix both up, hopefully to end his knee issues Unfortunately the 'worse' knee had a bit of a hiccup and he had to have a small procedure post Xmas Club believes in fixing the issues completely or hope to, no matter how long that takes He has, like Vanders, been working his butt off in the gym, so core strength will be even better than ever He starts his preseason on legs next week, hence the timeframe Most of the others rehabbing were either small procedures or not leg related and were able to get the k's in Hence Oliver's performance post an 'interrupted' pre season
  5. Sorry chap, already happened to Nev, but verbally at the G whilst he was playing, unfortunately within earshot of his wife The perpetrator was allowed to live but was ejected
  6. You mean he was gay when it wasn't socially acceptable and he had to hide it in Hollywood like others, and the stress of this led him along the path of drug and drink problems?
  7. Yes, but what will his body language be like?
  8. Think they see him as another Nibbler, maybe cover and keep Nibs honest During match sim both buzz around everywhere Craft for small fwds is pressure, tackling and kicking goals anyway you can
  9. Corey Wagner, has what has been inferred in the first post, under that radar Just been ticking off the preseason sessions Can run all day and has good skills, does a lot of the craft work with the other small forwards, Spargo, Garlett etc Josh Wagner is what we have seen, a solid AFL player, who needs to excel and sustain to get a chance in AFL team
  10. It is not 'attacking', but some of the comments are shall we say a trifle 'unrealistic' I often wondered why Misso wandered around with a cosh, now i know it was to attack feet of unsuspecting players McDonald was/is a toe, which is manageable AVB was a heel, contracted in a game, which was one nobody had seen before, more like a motorcyclists injury Trengove's was a foot that didn't respond at first to the 'normal' treatment for that injury So all Misso's fault then?
  11. That's polite It's all quite simple if our 22 play better than Port's 22 and luck smiles on us in front of goal we wlll win, doesn't matter who is in either team because both coaches will pick a 22 that is fit, in form and has impressed in ore season
  12. If you were at training, like I am, you would see who it was hint nobody is right as yet
  13. Of course STMJ most are self appointed genii, myself included, on footy and will spout forth on a regular basis, making sure that every reader on thr board understands their opinion is the only right one I know the Footy Dept read this board, but inly when they need a break from the harsh reality that is modern footy Except Moonie if course, he's contebt just to troll
  14. My God underselling your powers, I am shocked This is Demonland, there are posters on here who know so much more than the coaches we have, the coaches make sure they read Demonland to ensure they don't let their inadequacies fail the team
  15. No, but did a full rehab session, they work just as hard Another good session today, lots of work with quick ball movement Garlett was very good today as was Hibberd One of the new guys burnt Lewis in one of the ball movement drills, a quick quiet word, good to see There was lots of banter and laughter today, but the drills were slick Harmes, who is no slouch, was doing a a bit of one on one with Hunt, Hunt just used his zip to break free, after about six goes, Harmes out loud 'he's just too quick' to everybody's amusement
  16. I checked with Trac, playing weight 110kg, might not be a serious answer
