  1. Nah Ethan, just wonder how some on here can criticise Burgo and then say they miss him, laughable chap I don't know how many pictures of Weid taking a mark in pre season people need, I've just counted the ones I took 17, but only felt the need to post 3 The team is ticking along nicely, the administration is ticking along nicely, is it MFCSS kicking on and posters and readers need something, bad/poor/disastrous to hang their hat on
  2. The hypocrisy kills me, the criticism of Burgo was particlarly nasty on here Not sure what people want, the players train, it hardly differs, posters carp that every team is flying in pre season, is that we need? Even the training reports on here can start to sound the same Here are a few tidbits Chris Salem supports Arsenal Max Gawn supports Sunderland and the Black Caps Oscar McDonald prefers the traditional board games to electronic but has no taste in beer Nev Jetta is a proun Noongar Man Both Christian Petracca and Jack Viney have a shoe fetish
  3. It all depends on which player has the turn driving the huddle, the 'chant', antics change They are fans of different sports and music, so you get all sorts, but always ends in laughter and the players bounce into training The teams always huddle before a gam for a last rev up from the captain Was obviously brought in to emulate match day, but rather than a revup, it is used to get the players up and about for training Goodwin and McCartney want the players to be winning games, but they also want them to have fun I have been to training for last 10 years, since the arrival of Misson and his team, I have watched the standard of training improve tenfold, but also the players enjoying it The cooments from the watchers in Qld all mentioned how happy the team looks And it is a team
  4. Bit like Hunt, gets a bit ahead of himself, now and again, both are being 'coached' to eradicate, Frost is the same
  5. You 2 'experts' are like a broken record, it is 2019 the whole approach to rehab has changed I spoke to Nev Jetta, emphasis on the word spoke, came out of rehab and bettered his 2k by a full 10 seconds, since rejoining main group has been regularly nailing opponents in tackles in match sim, so obviously his interrupted pre season has had a major impact NOT Same with Brayshaw, Tim Smith, Hunt et al Of course it hasn't stopped them going for a pie and a beer after Thursday night training
  6. Great report on the chats and never apologise for the standard of photo Careful though, you may get criticised for actually talking to players
  7. The boys enjoy it, I asked, it does no harm, Nibbler's was a Haka for the physical coordination challenged, my partner was at the session and loved it
  8. They have been doing this at every session since start of pre season, the more ridiculous the better, Hibbo's a close second to Nibbler's
  9. Personally think yourself and @La Dee-vina Comedia should get something more in your lives???
  10. Sauna, bit too Scandinavian for me, took the opportunity to do some more day shifts for the week they are away I am kept up to date though
  11. Spargo has been training really well, last training session, a couple of really good decisions and disposal, he was 18 and a controlled pre season last year Supporters on here have been crying out for real depth, we have it now, reckon from now on, including the QLD camp, every player will take their training efforts up a notch, as I have said before Goodwin will pick the 22 he thinks have had the 'best' pre season and are fully fit and in form for Rd1
  12. Maybe the transcriber misheard or misread and everyone's friend auto correct didn't pick it up, I only read for the gist not the lesson in grammatically corect flowing prose, you? Like in the 70's, a friend asked to borrow my personal recording device He said 'can I borrow you Dictaphone?' I said "no, use your finger like everybody else'
  13. Nev has been raving to me about Toby for 2 years, was overjoyed when we got him, thinks with the correct development we have now will be a crowd/cult favorite when he gets his chance Nev relishes the mentoring role
  14. It good English like that what I speak, good job he is a footy coach and not a pedant
  15. Toby Bedford learnt a valuable lesson in the session yesterday Was matched up on Nev at one point and cheekily gave him a love tap Nev bided his time and then happily buried Toby in a ball and all tackle Chandler is my early pick to be a surpise packet Corey Wagner will be keeping all the medium small forwards honest
  16. He went and saw medicos near end of session, had a discussion and like Trac sent in, they have to report the slightest niggle
  17. Billy Stretch tidying up
  18. Billy Stretch adjusting the ropes
  19. I had to work this afternoon, so pics on here and Insta tonight Fritsch was the standout, with Salem running him a close second and Tommy Mc next, in my humble opinion of course Umpires there again, which is great initiative It was a really good near 3 hour session, for a hot sweaty session the skills were excellent Tommy Mc charged past me on way back to AAMI in just shorts, obviously the barefoot is the rule, was hardly sweating Vanders proves footy is back, has a lovely black eye, as displayed on the party shirt photo on here Even though he has a fight on his hands reckon Jeff Garlett will shut up some of the experts on here, the battle for the small forward spots is going to be hot
  20. If you are still on holiday and you want to have a squiz, there is a session 9.30am Goschs The website has been updated/changed
  21. Come on guys get it right
  22. That's the DJ, think he is Petracca's mate
