  1. I am really hoping Jesse gets a run on 22nd, can't wait to see if any of the so called tough Nth Melb defenders have a go, Had a chat to him about playing VFL and told him he would have 'head' hunters he just smirked and said he was looking fwd to it, Think it is really good coaching to have Spencer banging into him, he more than held his own
  2. Any chance that who is in what colour changes every training session, you even have blue with blue sometimes as well, maybe the match simulation will show something, but even that is usually evened up
  3. Gee BH it must be terrible being on a board with so many people of inferior intellect, but then again I suppose you were one of those small children that delighted in pulling the wings of butterflies as well. I personally enjoy jousting with you, it gives me something to do during my lunch break, helps me relax because I don't have to use my brain a lot
  4. When you are judging Barry BH make sure you are facing the green bit.......by the way showing your support for mfc by shouting the name out loud....very impressive.......what is your defintion of soft by the way....
  5. Old Dee you can get hurt at training, just ask Max Gawn or Daniel Menzel or Morabito or and the list goes on
  6. New Age Hipster: This is totally off topic but couldn't resist....sorry.. New Age Hipster 16 up, 13 down An individual who tries to go against mainstream lifestyles, and favors the ideals of non-conformity, yet conforms to other hipsters around him-her. Typically, new age hipsters view themselves as artistic and often times sport "thrift store chique". if you would like to find a new age hipster, go to artistic neighborhoods in major cities, such as Williamsburg in Brooklyn. When looking for a fine specimen of new age hipster in Williamsburg, look not at the orthodox Jews, but the bohemia who are all wearing thick non-perscription glasses, and American Apparel wear that they say they bought at a thrift store. Hipsters used to be seen as cool, but are quickly losing reputation as new kids come into this scene who have an art history degrees and live off of their parents wealth. Typical Person: Hey, where did you get those jeans. New Age Hipster: A thrift store... <ugh> Typical Person: Oh wait, no, you still have the tag hanging off, you got that from American Apparel. Ok.... What music is that you are listening to? New Age Hipster: It is just a small band, you wouldn't know of, or appreciate them. <Haha> Typical Person: Try me. New Age Hipster: Matt and Kim Typical Person: Arent they like celebrities now-a-days, they are awesome, but not a small band to say the least. New Age Hipster: <Ugh> Whatever, Im going to go smoke with my friends, Im too cool for this anyways.
  7. Looking over your shoulder again Old Dee, have a look at the training photos from today, that is a 17yr old wrestling somebody who is over 100kg, great to see, looking fwd to seeing Hogan in the NAB Cup, I want Dom Barry to get an extended taste as well
  8. I can live with 37 pages on unproven drug use, I can endure a topic on a guy who is resigning from another Club, I can put up with RR's polls.......but lay off the facial hair............. .for your info Max Gawn, Jack Watts and Tom Gillies are in a competition re the beards although it was Max that told me that so not sure whether it is true or not....... Aaron Davey's skills and touch have never deserted him, it was his body letting him down
  9. Today's papers half right.....not even that!!!!
  10. It is Demonlands motto, 37 pages of waffle on something that hasn't even been proved as being true yet, hence very little from me, same as the Demetriou topic.........always look if you have posted TU so hence my post, don't be too flattered, at least your posts are normally interesting not that I agree with them all the time
  11. I am only browing part of the 20 odd pages, or looking for reply to my post, what I am saying is that at the moment it is all hearsay, will fill the papers and tv for a few days and then be replaced with something else that will appeal to the masses and drag out all the so called experts and pundits....noticed even Akermanis is getting a guernsey I am not naive enough to think there are no drugs in sport, but until somebody is outed, what is the point stressing over it, it may have no impact whatsoever on MFC and basically don't give a toss about any other sport or team, end of my contribution to this 'topic'
  12. 28 pages and counting, I thought we would have learnt on this board, that nothing is a fact until it is proven Why was nobody arrested yesterday, why was noboby named simple answer, there is no concrete proof, there are suspicions and probably uncorroborated statements, but not enough to pursue The Police are now going to use all their resources to try and prove ASADA are hoping that if they shake the tree hard enough something will fall out, similar to the Lance Armstrong situation I will wring my hands and be disgusted if and when a present day Melbourne player or official is suspended, banned, arrested for using/administering performance enhancing drugs The rest is what we have all become used to, the media creating the story I can't wait for the footy to start and then we can talk about the footy
  13. I basically asked if in his opinion there was an issue with Indigenous players in the AFL....or is it a myth...a beat up...etc
  14. Just a quick answer, it has been in the news, it was footy related, and as a Member I am entitled to ask an employee of my Club whatever I like.....NC answered it like it should have answered....given his personal view which is very similar to my own.....as I said last night in the preface to my question......I wear 39 proudly on my jumper..........it is an issue that needs to be discussed...and if you are going to ask anybody NC was the perfect person, footy.sport/life experience.........if we sweep it under the carpet or speak in hushed tones it will always be there.........is there an issue?....is it a media beat up again!....is there anything we as supporters can do/understand/help/etc...NC's view we need indigenous players in the game....but everybody including the player needs to be on the same page and making the same effort/sacrifices etc...but with the Club learning all the time to make it as seamless as possible...think that is paraphrased as well as I can
  15. So Russell Howcroft you actually contribute to this board......but seriously...... ...any supporter who regularly either reads or contributes to this board could do the same.... ..I went along to listen about the footy, don't have a problem with the admin side......and asked a question of Neil Craig because I value his insight on anything footy related.....and as WJ has previously stated was given a brilliant answer
  16. No we don't this was pointed out at the AGM, iit's a perception, if you look around the room at the AGM of course because most of MCC/MFC dual members, Cam Schwab said it was generational
  17. Neeld is like Malthouse, dependent on the circumstances AGM - does not want to create a headline, wants to look professional and completely in control, with a bit of humour DEETV (with Robbo) - trying to show his 'human' side TV internews - does not suffer fools Chatting to him at Training/Family Day/Function - a really nice guy, if you ask a question you get an answer The most important is the Coach's Box and this year he will show how good he is
  18. 2 words......Caroline Wilson..... 4 more words........why bother reading it 2 more words....it's rubbish
  19. or the cue for a song by the Clash.......
  20. I actually thought the question on the future of Indigenous players was brilliantly asked as well, but I am biased, and agree answered brilliantly, told Craig that after meeting ended May get a poll started on here about the benefits of playing with facial hair, Rangey can u see to that please I think they want the song to ring out when we win, doing everytime we get together will devalue it....we are all finally on the same page....no rallying cry needed WJ make sure u take notes next time...that report is very scant on detail haha (twitter touch)
  21. Just a note on Fitzy, Clark 'may' be back for Rd 1, if Neeld wants another tall, enter Fitzy, he'll get runs in the NAB Cup for sure, by the way he has had Chronic Fatigue and has diabetes assume the regime he has to adhere to is pretty serious, but if you speak to him, away from the footy field and training track he is one 'different' laidback individual, switches off as soon as he can, so may look disinterested or forlorn
  22. I would have gone for humourous rather than disingenuous...... Humourous - is the tendency of particular cognitive experiences to provoke laughter and provide amusement. Disingenuous - Not noble; unbecoming true honor or dignity; mean; unworthy; fake or deceptive. Edit trying to amend the pasting but would be disingenuous of me to claim that I am actually au fait with the process
  23. Make sure you wear the hat so we know it's you.......
  24. Hey BH it is not attitudes but opinions, to be disingenuous we would not have the opinion of JW that we have and were just posting to stir.....unless your definition of disingenuous is "not agree with BH, so is definitely wrong"
  25. I assume that everybody who thinks the Club are going to answer questions with the same old waffle won't be going, either to listen or ask questions, and won't bother reading the reports on here, am I correct?
