I disagree with you sentiment, like to ask how you would react if somebody said you were ordinary? Just because they are footy players, in fact, any footy player, some seem to think they can disrespect them. As I have said before if given the opportunity would you state to Jack Grimes in person that he was ordinary

I was at training HL Hogan Kent were no shows cameras all over the place and all over Clayton Oliver leaving early in some discomfort expect it on news there was also a training drill that resulted in blood noses to Dunn Watts and I think Grimes Salem and Brayshaw did full session at the end of session there was quite a willing tacklng drill between Trac and Viney have a couple pics to put on Twitter

MFC 2016 Membership - Record Broken. Next stop: 40,000
Satyriconhome replied to Lucifers Hero's topic in Melbourne Demons
I need to correct what I posted as I misinterpreted what I was told and it is totally inaccurate Of the MCC members who identify as Melbourne supporters 50% of those will buy a dual membership which is the highest rate of any club ,A [censored] up on a grand scale on my part -
So the St Kilda game and the selfless work he did against the Gold Coast count for nothing?

MFC 2016 Membership - Record Broken. Next stop: 40,000
Satyriconhome replied to Lucifers Hero's topic in Melbourne Demons
I am not boasting, because of certain activities I do, I have knowledge re numbers, I just felt that your remarks were disparaging and as I knew 'a fact' I should point that out, if they weren't meant to be, cool A lot of the MFC/MCC members don't attend all games but still buy the membership, to support the club, hence the age old jibe about the 4 wheel drives heading for the snow during the season, normally containing joint MFC/MCC members As far as I know the joint memberships account for just under 1/2 of the membership total, hence PJ's drive to broaden the supporter base whilst still retaining the 'old guard' -
MFC 2016 Membership - Record Broken. Next stop: 40,000
Satyriconhome replied to Lucifers Hero's topic in Melbourne Demons
Because, yet again, it is a disparaging post without actually knowing all the facts I was told how many it constitutes, it is a decent percentage of the current membership, not willing to divulge the exact figure, don't think it is my place -
MFC 2016 Membership - Record Broken. Next stop: 40,000

I know exactly the number of joint MFC/MCC memberships that make up the membership tally at present, suggest you delete this post -
I am humble enough not to laugh out loud when one or more of you write off a player, and then find you are completely wrong AGAIN, I post in topics and then I get attacked because I tend not to agree with the bleaters, I talk UP the Dees all the time
-
No it was a slight bit of sarcasm, love when a player gets written off, as I wrote, he is playing his role, whether he keeps that role is up to the Footy Dept.
-
Wasn't Pedo terrible against the Gold Coast, don't know how he sleeps at night knowing he is an area of weakness
-
You must never go hungry the amount of times you have had to do this in the last couple of years, hence why I don't do it, lean and mean Said Hunt might surprise, just needed to get his body right and listen to McCartney, watched him as a junior, and a couple of games at Casey
-
I don't sideswipe, I offer an opinion, ever noticed the rubbish I receive, again you have added nothing to the topic it's hypocrite by the way, have a look who liked yr post the always right Why is Pedo the least worst I would put him on par with Ceglar for the role he plays What we think doesn't matter, the Footy Dept sorts it out I already have an inkling of who will be delisted at the end of the yeat whether the FD agrees who knows Every player who runs out to play an AFL game must be a good player because they have got past the couldabeens and got on a list Every year Demonland goes through this we have turned over list on a massive scale for the last couple of years let's give it this year to see if changes have worked
-
In your opinion, I don't share that opinion,, the Footy Dept will decide if we are in a weak position regarding the rucks, what we think on there, doesn't mean squat, I fully expected McKenzie and Bail to be delisted at years end, but when they were picked they gave it their best, you support the team at the time, that is what a supporter does, only difference between me and some other supporters, I don't feel the need to denigrate players or coaches or whingeing about anything and everything all the time A little example for you, I was invited to be part of a Focus Group looking at something for the Club, first question was about Melbourne supporters, I said they were the biggest whingers I had ever come across, of course I got howled down by some, for the next hour the howlers did nothing but whinge and complain and offer nothing constructive....bit like Demonland
-
My point Ben Brown and Josh Jenkins may spend 10 minutes max, Roos obviously thinks Pedo is good enough coz he keeps picking him, Pedo provides a contest in the ruck, that's all you want from a backup

Is Tom McDonald tradable at the end of 2016?
Satyriconhome replied to Adam The God's topic in Melbourne Demons
That's what it is asking, everybody knows each player is tradeable, read the first post, it was to get debate going on here, a faint chance of that happening, (not much happening in your life at the moment I take it), have an opinion on whether he should be traded?- 176 replies

Like Goldstein you mean and Jacobs, you will find most top ruckmen want to ruck most of the game with a max of 5 or 10 minute breather in total All they have to do is compete, there are not many teams at the moment who have the luxury of two top ruckmen, and I mean top, most have one and a serviceable back up King 1 is still developing, King 2 will be rebuilt, Spencer, if Gawn goes down, hopefully not, will at least compete, that is all you can ask
-
Our main deficiencies against St Kilda was we went away from 18 man defence and lost the appetite to get to as many contests as we could Ruck division Gawn, Spencer, King x 2, backup Dawes, Pedersen, Frost

Satyriconhome replied to Adam The God's topic in Melbourne Demons
Exactly, when he has the ball in hand and looks up I sometimes look away, but this will get better and better, to suggest he be traded is laughable....a resounding NON from me- 176 replies

They are now in the Champions League and will have to spend money to increase the size of the squad, plus up the salaries to keep their top players, doubt whether then can sustain, although brilliant to see for this year, especially with Spurs going so agonisingly close. Everton were their usual blind date selves, promise so much early and then fizzle out
-
I didn't say any of fat lazy etc you are intetpreting it that way which is your issue, show me where I said it, comment about being a metre wide was in reference to getting across the footbridge at Etihad the poster in question made it sound like a Stygian adventure
-
I actually didn't say that if you bothered to tead what I posted, but you never do, keep having a personal go at me precious sadly you obviously need it in your life I come to post my opinions, like others but because I don't agree with some of the more vociferous I get denigrated, if you don't like what I post don't read I, unlike some, don't really care
-
Outstanding comeback chap, it was worth waiting for ? do you go the G?
-
I support my team if that is what you mean by stridently pro Melbourne disappointed as the next man by the performance on Saturday, but don't feel the need to fill every thread and topic post game with doom and gloom I also, if I feel the need arises, express my disappointment to the club and players directly, not hide behind a keyboard taking potshots, also one of the few on here who doesn't baulk at being identified publicly You are obviously another poster who doesn't understand I will deliberately bait some of the posters on here because a. they deserve it and b. I find it entertaining now and again Forgot the small vocal majority was a play on words I will try not to br too cerebral in the future

Gil was on the news the other night AFL is locked into a contract for a certain number of games each season at Etihad, assume with all the other fixturing "issues" they probably thought that giving each Vic Club at least one home game there it would stop the whinging WRONG Geelong who have their 'own' stadium like us play a home game at Etihad in a couple of weeks
