Good teams don't rely on luck, they seem to manage to get the job done. However in a knockout final luck can have more of a consequence for obvious reasons. Wonder how Brisbane felt in their finals loss to the Dogs.

Can't remember it being so, neither was the umpiring in general but he still gets picked up on it from time to time

From a former VFL umpire now coaching umpires at local level. The umpires know Max has the habit of putting his hand out at centre bounces so are always watching him for it. Not really fair but probably a good idea for him to get it out of his game.

MCC does send out a notification asking those listed as MFC supporters if they would like to take out a membership with the football club. Think it arrives about Feb sometime.
