If he can't get up for the first game after playing just a couple of practise matches I'd be very pessimistic about how many games were likely to get out of him for the year
Been saying for ages , recent successfull chfs have been big bodied players.IMO not good enough to be a lead up chf, must be able also to take pack marks and bang and crash to open up opportunities for smaller players.
All successfull CHF in the past 10 years have been big bodied men. It has nothing to do with the odd centremeter , he is not big enough in the body ( strength )
The most disturbing aspect of posts to this site is that Bate is a possibility to be successfull at chf. Will never have the body size to more than pinch hit in this position
Does anyone consider that Nathan Carroll has been less effective this year when compared to last year due to the way the team has been playing. Not much pressure on the opposition a lot of the time
