Am a big fan of Aussies but he has been out of the game for 12 months now and needs to get his body right and show he can still play or he risks becoming irrelevant to the cause

Only at his peak certainly not his last few years.Had most disposals in the league one year and was very skilfull

Would only consider Adam Yze at his absolute peak as coming close and even he falls short

Especially disappointing Rhino since from memory we had beaten West Coast in Perth just a few weeks before the end of the season. Gary Lyon pulled out before the game and the other players just didn't step up.

Absolutely my biggest regret in 50 years a Demon . Should have at least , AT LEAST played off in the Gf in 1990.Can't remember the details of Northey's departure don't recall there being a lot of angst.

As usual you fudge the facts with your own bias, it is not the refusal to talk to other clubs that make it draft tampering, it is his connections putting it out there that he won,t play if he doesn,t get to the club of his choice that is the offence. Also wether we tanked or were merely experimenting , how the @#$$& would you know!

Don't really care if we draft him or not, happy to leave that to the football department, however the issue I have with him is this. Either he or his manager is putting it out there that if not picked up by a prefered club he may pack his bags and have 12 months off. To my mind this is draft tampering

In short I guess I see him as a roaming forward in the style of Gary Buckenara who was a gun in very strong Hawthorn teams. Great leap , dangerous at ground level, multiple goal kicker and matchwinner but didn't have to play KP to be so.

Players who succeed in this position get double teamed, triple teamed, get their run at the ball blocked, have opposition players blocking the hole in front of them and the effect is they are forced to play a more physical style. Beezlebub is 100% correct

Whilst not wanting to tip a bucket on anyones enthusiasm for Jurrah & Watts is anyone else concerned about their physical size at the moment to play these key positions
