Don't you read? It was in response to someone whining about Trump supporters. I didn't start it. If you are changing your mind about Watts simply based on the perceived arrogance of the pro-trade lobby, I would suggest you are not communist, but more likely a lefty I will miss Jack, but I'm looking forward to seeing who Goody brings in. I will bet they will improve the team.

I was actually thinking prior to reading ProDees quote, that we must have a majority of lefties on the Watts board, and was about to also make a reference to "feelings" over logic. Many here need to consider the feelings of supporters who wish to win a flag. Don't dreamers lives matter?

2017 Keith ‘Bluey’ Truscott Memorial Trophy
faultydet replied to Lucifers Hero's topic in Melbourne Demons
Would be great to see Nev finally get some recognition for his amazing work. Agree with the order, but am hoping for an Oliver win. -
Reckon if the site had the appropriate program, this bloke would have the highest "like" per word posted, of anyone who has ever been on 'Land. Bradman numbers I suspect. Ta Chookers, that oughta calm a few frayed nerves.

I think he will go 1:His own captain criticised him publicly 2: his own coach criticised him publicly 3: His own football manager criticised him publicly. 4: the writing has been on the wall all year, including being dropped twice. 5: I think we WILL be offered his actual value, although the pick will be the same as the one you think is not commensurate with his worth. 6: Gut feel

I blame Jack Watts
-
If Jack is the intelligent bloke he is portrayed as, nothing about this should come as a shock. I trust that we have quality coaches now. They would have spelled things out quite clearly for him.

Sue, you seem to be a bit conspiratorial about this, and it's unlike you. Ask yourself why Jacks manager has been praising Melbourne for it's handling of the Watts situation, rather than thinking it's all b.s, and we have blindsided our own player. He was dropped more than once, and being picked for round 1 may have shown the match committee was actually too soft on him, when maybe their instinct was not to play him at all. Jack is a champion bloke, but he does not behave like a champion player, when he has all of the skills to become one. He wasted that chance, not his club.

On this years output, Pedo should have been in the AA squad. Deserves first chance at relief ruck next season. Can also bust open packs. Underrated player.

Hogan is also a very good field kick. Needs to get the defensive pressure right, if he is to play further up field. If Hogan can get the full season on deck, roaming around the ground, McDonald at Full Forward will win our goal kicking handsomely. Still say he is the best contested mark at our club, and his kicking is not a liability up forward. It removed a backline weakness, while adding a forward line strength. We will be much stronger for it.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BALIC

If predictions like that came true, the league would consist entirely of Scott Pendleburys.- 603 replies

possibly a lack of trust brought on by unpressured chest marks bouncing off him repeatedly. If a guy can't mark, you end up looking for a safer option. So many here have their "Good guy" blinkers on. We need to back our footy department, who are being criticised for having the temerity to put together a premiership side. I will miss the great guy Jack. I will never miss the one arm window dummy posing as a marking forward.

Says to me it's a sideshow to placate the moronic masses of their supporter base.

Wasn't it 12, and we sent that to Geelong for Moloney?
-
Wanting is not receiving though merv. I think a solid p.r campaign could sway the Crows into considering pick 6 on its own, or with maybe a 3rd/4th rd pick attached at worst. Pick 10 & Watts (converted to pick 6) is reasonably fair for Lever. I would be more ticked off at Colonwood picking up a much loved club favourite, for only a 4 pick downgrade.
-
Not if it is sent to Adelaide with Pick 27 for Lever 10+27+ Watts? Too much
-
So your'e gulping down Ice Breaks while pulling trade stories out of your arz to ease the bordom?
-
Remember some of our players are still kids, so while unlikely, its possible

Great, another F*&$ing lawyer. This site should be renamed LawyerLand

How does a first time poster have 20 posts from back in 2010? Watts obviously did something that the footy department feel was unacceptable. It's widely reported that Jack is a much loved figure at the club. Every mistake he makes surrounding his preparation may be amplified because of the respect other, less experienced players have for him, and as such the dept think he is an undue influence in how not to prepare. Or maybe they have simply tired of him playing like he has one arm cut off. Jack is capable of much much more than he gives.

See you this time next year as a RFA Andrew Thanks for not costing us anything as a trade.
-
Your suggestion comes down to Watts, 27, 12? for Lever. Too Much I think
-
Why are so many people falling over themselves to come up with ways we can pay 2 x first round picks for Lever? Can anyone honestly see us agreeing to that? (And you suggest Watts as well!) I can't

I believe you Josh. I'm sure the club knew nothing before Monday.
