haha very funny Eth pssst, who is that? -
Really enjoy watching Daisy. Would be interested to see how she would go as the special comments person during play. Intelligent, informative, and has a delivery far removed from the embarrassing Kellie Underwood.

One of the biggest issues with Islamists is p.c If the p.c sickness didn't engulf western academia/media, and politics, the resolve to preserve great western cultures would never have been surrendered. The ONLY thing that will ever control the threat of islamists are political figures with the balls to ignore the p.c police, and take every measure to eliminate, or prevent the spread of Islam into their western society. Poland and Hungary are glowing examples of how a true patriot can keep his country safe. It's a leaders number 1 task, and one that has been given up in Western Europe by the slaves to the E.U's Junker/Tusk etc, and their globalist banker/investor masters. Islam is an ideology, not a religion. And a dangerous one at that.

Everyone who opens this thread should stop at this post. Nothing more needs to be said.

Sorta kinda. I have to admit, with our winning form, I have forgotten all about the inequities of the draw, and simply look for the day/time of our next win. Winning cures all ills. I have Foxtel/AFL app with Unlimited internet, both home and mobile, so I dont care about the friday night timeslot. Just want to see either the game or a replay regardless of time, whereas your standard Colonwood/Essedon supporter cant afford that stuff on centrelink payments.

Agree. Soccer is forced onto kids in schools, but most of them drop off the game once they have a choice. 90 minutes of nothing, interrupted by the occasional life-threatening flare and singing to combat the boredom, will never compete with a true physical contest in this country.

Look for Collingwood v Essedon every friday night next season. And every ad between goals featuring Scott Pendlebury defeating the Hulk, to gain possession of the advertised product., Qld is a yuge state. There is no option but TV for many here. And N.S.W? Dunno. Just tight asses I guess.

Sometimes prefer to hear the words of someone like Lewis after a game, as Maxs' comedy routine gets a bit predictable. It's great for so many of the players, after so many horrible beltings, to be flogging sides. We look finals bound now, and continuation of anything resembling current form will surely see us finish top 4, and get a M.C.G final.

Couldn't see him being offered a large enough contract to justify anything approaching a top 2 pick for a bloke who will start next season as a 31 year old. No actually, it's the AFL. I can see a top 2 pick for sure.

I don't even remember it, although I'm more than old enough to. Did Grinter hit him from behind? The pic appears that way.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 10
faultydet replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Key forward Tom McDonald has been named in the starting 18, despite leaving the track on Thursday He came from Gosch’s Paddock as a precaution, due to his foot injury, which kept him out of the side for the opening five rounds. Are you having an "internet victory" moment? -

Foot is the new knee. Wonder how Viney has been pulling up. Seems to be a bastard of a thing to shake. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - AUSTIN BRADTKE
faultydet replied to Demons11's topic in Melbourne Demons
I find it interesting that people still defer to the "big" clubs when looking at things like this. No disrespect intended, but why would it be a big deal if Collingwood and Geelong were also into Bradtke? With the way our recruiters have gone recently, it should be the other way around now. We are as good or better than anyone at spotting talent. His dad was a big big man, so I can see the young version filling out quite nicely, although Max has shown that if you have the height and talent, a beanpole ruckman can dominate at the highest level. Shows that developing a list is a 365 day a year job. It just never stops. Well done Dees, and welcome Austin. Hope you make the grade.- 102 replies

Are you one of those dudes who walk around in a dress? Asking cos you talk like a lefty femmo, you know, with your made-up hate labels and all.

I must have a "Dead Heart" hey? Put down that weapon and get out of your Dream World, before the Bullroarer Sells my Soul down the Gunbarrell Highway. You lefties. Woah, Sometimes.......

It's your reply that is ignorant. At least let the high horse slow down prior to jumping on it. Why the bloke apologised is beyond me.

Just a reminder that we are playing for our 4th win in a row this week. Chin up old mate.

Voted Jakovich. Most exciting player I have ever seen in our colours. I still smile thinking about some of the things he did. Oliver could be one of our best 5 ever players if he follows his current trajectory. Just needs the umpires to be able to vote after watching a replay, and he will win Brownlows.

Bloody door knocker. Just threw a pineapple your way. Thanks to everyone involved in keeping the site running.

I agree with the 100 game thingy. Would be nice to see little Bernies running around in the future. We will have plenty of players to delist this year. Not sure if we want to offload heaps given our compromised draft position.
-
Swapping Oliver for Jako wasnt my point. Jakovich would be one of my first couple of players named, as would Oliver.
-
Someone didnt see Jakovich play
-
The thought of Jakovich, Jurrah, Farmer, Flash, Ox, and Robbo in the forward line......?

The final line is my concern. We have been mauling garbage sides, and its great to finally see us putting it together against sides that we should. But, I think our true improvement can only be measured against the best teams. While I can see that we are playing with a different setup to the first few rounds, I wont be in any way convinced that a player like Gaff will be "cherry on top" material, until we start rolling top 4 sides consistently. We didn't just lose to them, we got blown away. Here's hoping.....
