Agree 100%, and im amazed at the softening of opinion on this site. Illegal performance enhancing drugs. Not once by accident or ignorance. Repeatedly, in secret, off site. Aided in the cover up by the AFL, and shifty underworld connected figures, and ignored by a toothless worksafe. WADA and its Australian cousin have only one option here. Bring out the heavy sledge hammer, and send a notice to all team sports in the world. You cheat, you pay the full penalty. 2 year bans, missing 2 full seasons. Yeah, i would be comfortably satisfied with that.

Amazes me how anyone in that position allows a pic to be taken of him. What purpose could it possibly serve, other than to drop him in the schit?
-
Apologies mate. Went off without taking in the meaning. My mistake.
-
I wouldnt have any problem with cigarettes being outlawed either mate. They serve no purpose at all, other than add to the countries health care costs.
-
I decided to send Shortens instead. Will get back to you when someone finds it. Missed Wokkys pun about decriminalise everything and crime is wiped out overnight. Funny.
-
What a phlog. The "girls" are the dealers/buyers, because you cant trust the guys on the street. Take your "sweeping generalisations", and belt them up your ars, you racist [censored]
-
The non druggos are laughing at you pal. Have another hit.
-
Nothing ironic at all. Simply replying to your post
-
Yeah, because a street full of meth heads wont do anything wrong. fmd

last person i need a lecture from is you, you fkn moron. I wasnt going to post, but when people quote me, the temptation is too much to resist.
-
for $100 here, I can get enough to get 10+ people bent off their dial. Its not cool to be sitting in a room, watching the girls spin the perfect foil pipe, all the while waiting for someone to kick down the door.

Actually Ethan, im fully aware that the advocates for legalization are arguing that a legal status will result in cheaper prices, therefore a lower need for crime to pay for it. I understand that, and I also agree that it would likely be an outcome of legalisation . I am simply against ANY measure, that makes it more likely for my kids, or grandkids to use the stuff. Ok, I'm not stupid, of course they will try something, but at least if its still illegal, with big consequences for being caught, the families educations process is likely to win out, and they wont keep using. If its socially acceptable, cheap, without immediate consequence, there is no reason for them to stop. Simple really.

can anyone tell me what a single hit of crystal meth is worth on Australian streets?
-
Bullschit I said that drugs here are very cheap, and easily obtained. (One of the arguments put forward to legalise them, to prevent crime) I then said that the fact they are illegal, and would result in a lead pellet death, is good enough reason for me to stay away. Try to make sense next time.
-
Lance, based on what is in the public forum so far, any news from Worksafe in relation to your mob should be nothing but catastrophic. I think to this point, Worksafe has been an embarrassing joke.
-
Tell me what part of "decriminalize all drugs" says they are a bad thing? Legal, means not bad. Acceptable, ok. People do not just take up drugs because they are illegal, and they want to be "bad" All sorts of reasons why people take them up, and turn into druggo losers, who are a burden on society. Users will always find an argument in support of legalisation. Are you a user?
-
oh, forgot to say. I reside for a large part of every year in Asia, and let me tell you, that the threat of jail, or having a lead pellet shot through my chest, provide me with enough reasons to stay away from the very very available hard drugs that I come across here. Very cheap, available for home delivery, and very potent. Not for me.
-
I said I would post on this subject again, but what the hell, one last time wont hurt. Readily available supplies of hard drugs, with no threat of penalty, will of course empower more people to give it a go. "go on mate, its fine, its all legal. And its on $10 a hit, give it a go, my shout" Lets say we will never agree, but I appreciate the reasoned reply.
-
I think points 2 and 4 are the big issues here. It shouldn't really be a surprise that the AFL if feathering its own nest, but, my god, what has happened to Worksafe? Surely it's political interference? I just dont understand the complete lack of media scrutiny of the lack of action, in what is surely a clear part of Worksafes brief?
-
Sorry everyone, I can see that this is turning into a general thread. Will refrain from posting on this subject here. faulty

All of the bad end games of drugs start with USEAGE. Keep people off it, and the chances of crimes decrease, not increase. You can quote your "isolated" studies all you like, but a non user is always less risk than a user. Do you really think that cheap, readily available, mind altering drugs are a good thing for our society? Really? edit for rushed spelling

Yeah, sorry, I should have clarified my comments. I get my cranky up whenever I see people advocating the legalization of crystal meth etc... The weed thing has been done to death, and its all but legal now, unless you have quantities that you cannot use yourself. The heavy [censored], I would fight against until my last breath. But as for your other argument, christ, why doesnt anyone read the sentence, and take its meaning? I never said it stops EVERYONE, but it clearly, and definitely stops many young people from using. That makes the law worth having. I will never submit to the "throw the hands in the air" argument, and say, because 1 person still uses, it should be decriminalized. Why cant you people see that?
