  1. No way Dr. A negative test wouldn't change the fact that they "attempted" to use the stuff. Still illegal, and worth the full 2 year ban. A positive test would simply provide the proof that most of us crave, so the smug essendrug supporters, and the media sellouts would finally have to shut their stupid traps, while we gloat and celebrate a demise that should have come 1 year ago
  2. Ah crap, walked past the place on the way to our hotel, dammit
  3. She loved it, but might have been a bit scared of her weirdo boyfriends carry on
  4. sorry i missed mate. We went out early. She looked great by the way. ;-)
  5. Taking my girlfriend to her first game. A filipina with no idea about the game, except it makes her boyfriend shout at the TV a lot. Bought her a guernsey and hat so she can look the part, and looking for the membership tent to sign her up also. I really hope we dont kok it up, or i have no chance of ever dragging her back to a game. Where do the Dees fans congregate in an away game? My first game since we rolled the drug cheating scum in the night game a few years back.
  6. Crows by 12 to 15 goals in a dry game, and around 8 to 10 if its wet. I still think we are mentally weak.
  7. We need a "multi-like" button Mind you, the same two smirking faces cleared us of tanking...........
  8. Red, are you embarrassed by your "mate"? I sure as hell would be. Absolutely reeks of a setup. They took the extra time, to decide how they could find the creep guilty, without needing to convict the drug cheats. Absolutely, totally sickening. 2014, where are you? I need some words of WADA comfort, before I go homicidal.
  9. Well said mate. And you are right. Its disgusting that they are allowed to be compared with real heroes, but watch the suckholes in the media do just that on ANZAC day. Lest we forget the drug cheating
  10. Always amazed at the arguments put up, usually by users, against illegal drug testing for AFL players. Im in coal mining, and we are subject to random drug and alcohol testing, every day of our working life. Big deal. Dont use, dont lose your job. As for the whining about out of competition testing, doesnt anyone think about the fact that the lifeblood of AFL teams (apart from members of course), the sponsors, do not want their brand tarnished by a team full of Ben Cousins / Chris Mainwarings, running around damagaing the sponsors image? The AFL already does its bit, by only doing the bare minimum of testing, so as to not bring the real numbers of illegal drug users into the public light. I personally have no problem whatsoever with every player on our list being tested once a week, if thats what it takes to eradicate the problem. Not that it will, as there is always the dikhed minority too foolish to understand the risks.
  11. Interesting road trip. Im picturing a cross between "Priscilla", and "The Sure Thing"
  12. I say again, where is the evidence that it has caused friendly fire incidents? Simple question But, thanks for posting the links. Interesting reading, and not at all surprising. Sorry for getting off topic everyone. My apologies. Also, needed to highlight this, as yet another extraordinary attempt to pre-empt a soft landing for the drug cheats "They might be forced to serve one more week of suspension — if found guilty — with the understanding that they were so keen to play for Australia they accepted that potential ramification." So they serve a huge extra 1 week? Not sure if serious, but the guy who wrote that must have been slobbo surely??? Selective suspensions, either time based, or match based, whatever is smaller?? God I hope they get annihilated.
  13. So the U.S has friendly fire incidents because it gives drugs to its pilots? Wow, just........wow. Evidence please, or you will need to excuse me for thinking you are a fool.
  14. You mean the Princeton Uni graduate, who was considered smart enough to be Defence Secretary of the most powerful country on earth??? Easy answer mate. Its you.
  15. Mate, as you serious? Honestly? Im sure most on here wouldn't be claiming, like essedun, that governance was a problem here. They knew what they were doing. They planned it, financed it, and happily injected their players with ILLEGAL DRUGS, trying to get an illegal advantage on the rest of the competition. The laughable "poor governance" drivel, is trotted out regularly by apologists, claiming this was all a big mistake. You don't fight a case based on nothing but legal technicalities if that is true. They are trying their best to hide the truth, and avoid their fair whack. Thank god that ASADA hasn't fallen for the same stuff that yourself and bummerblitz has fallen for, and that hopefully soon, we will see essedun be smacked mightily. Im hoping that they are banned from the competition, and that they are sued out of existence. Karma on a grand, and extremely satisfying scale.
  16. Love it. I don't know one single essedun supporter who isn't an arrogant prik. God I hope they get annihilated by WADA (I think it will go all the way to CAS, due to their arrogance) Two year bans, and a whole lot of egg sucking for their sycophant supporters in the media (and in this thread) And im at least reasonably confident that CAS will ensure the suspensions start from when they are handed down, as the cheating dogs haven't been effectively banned from ANYTHING yet. 2 years with no essedun in the comp would have me smiling my arz off. Go suck a mighty big one you filthy drug cheats.
  17. Have a problem with reading the entire post hey? Feel free to shut yours.
  18. As a past union delegate, and having been involved in two Enterprise Bargaining agreements in coal mines, I must say im surprised at the apparant softness of the AFL, in relation to the free agency farce. In every agreement, there is an "intent" behind every clause. You simply cant put enough words into a document that covers every contingency. Most agreements allow a modification of said agreement, once it is realised that the wording of the document is actually working in a different direction to what was intended. If it was actually put, by the players assocciation, that it was "intended" to facilitate the movement of fringe players from one club to another, it should be a very easy fix for the AFL. That is, at the next periodic review (again, standard practice), both parties should simply agree to scrap it, or modify it to allow the intent, to rule the clause. From experience, a commissioner will pay close attention to "intent", over actual wording. The players are weilding FAR too much power here, and if left unchecked, will certainly turn the comp into an Australian version of the EPL. A effing joke.
  19. The club cant get him out the door quick enough. Why? The best clubman award is like the fundraising queen at the local beauty pageant. Gotta give the ugly girls something hey? And how does his standing in the best and fairest make him any less of a weirdo?? Irrelevant. I would be interested to hear what the players think after he leaves, as its far easier to speak the truth when the guy isn't there any more. I suspect there will be some popping corks. For the record, I am happy at the thought of him running off half back, and delivering FORWARD, unlike our other half backs. I just hope the guy can keep his mouth shut, before he drives anyone mad. Sign him up, and get him in the side.
  20. A "little" self righteous? Blokes dont play football to save the world. They just enjoy being paid to play a game they love. (And maybe pull more chicks than they otherwise would) This sort of carry on can affect the locker room, and thats the last thing we need. I'm hoping he plays good footy, and keeps his stupid mouth shut. What a [censored].
  21. Pull your head in mate. She only asked a question, based on her first hand knowledge of (part) of the subject. She is not asking you not to feel sorry for yourself, or act the the expert on everything depressed.
  22. Am I the only one who wants to know what you have heard? Please tell.
  23. Will send you a pic of my first wife. Kills everything from the waist down, like an epidural.
  24. The Courts will presume innocence. The rest of us are free to think what we like. The Police obviously think he is guilty of something, hence the arrest. Why so precious?
  25. Think you might be reading too much into some of the comments.Mitch will have a very large support group available to help him through this, and a shed load of money to fall back on, so properly managed, his financial future is assured. He will most likely get through this, and live a very happy and wealthy lifestyle, paid for by my club. I hope that in fact happens. He doesnt need me to sook for him, and even if i did, it wouldnt make a lick of difference to his recovery. As far as asking about my workmates, i have one of my employees missing, after leaving to cross a flooded river, to help his family, in the Solomon Island floods from this week. My flight back was cancelled, as the mine we work at has been shut down completely, due to all of our access bridges being washed out to sea. I can assure you that I would be doing more than talking about it on an internet forum, if i could get back there to look for him.
