Well, with Jimmy Clement retiring at least we know Robbo is a good chance to kick a bag of goals in the "grudge match of the year" on QBD. Good to have you back in the fold Robbo.

Pendlebury is a soft outside player. Showed his true colours under pressure in the pre-lim. Those types have killed our club over the last 7-8 years.

Jordan never walked out on the Bulls to go play for the Pistons or the Lakers. Judd does not deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Jordan.

The thing that i find perplexing is that we, Melbourne, are relatively small club compared with Collingwood. Yet almost every rumour doing the rounds everywhere has Judd going to Melbourne, including the trades that have been done and reliable sources that have been given. I find it hard to believe that if he were heading to the Pies there would not have been some substantial leaks, considering the number of people who support the club at various levels. There is nothing showing up anywhere about Judd to Pies other than a few whispers.

What i can't understand about the Pies now firming is that there are no real rumours doing the rounds to back it up. There have been that many Judd to Melbourne rumours over the last few days that i was thinking one of them had to be true. Has the whole footy world been playing one big joke on the Melbourne supporters? Or does the landscape keep changing by the hour? Like the Pies stepping up to the plate in regards to trades because they may be losing him to us.

I just jumped in the car to go get some milk, and whoever is hosting SEN received a message asking about Judd, and the host said that in the last 12 hours his mail was that the Pies were "absolute frontrunners". Not what i wanted to hear, but just thought i'd share it.

I do agree with most of what you have written there Jaded. However, we all hear that Judd is not motivated by money, so therefore Carlton and Collingwood don't move up the pecking order there. If he is choosing a club from a list perspective or because he wants to play at the G, then why not meet with the Hawks? The only thing i will say about the sentimental attacment, is that i presume he would have barracked for the Dees up to being drafted to WA by the Eagles. His family i am presuming still does. He does what few players before him have done before him and decides to come back to VIC and can essentially choose his club. It is conceivably possible through these circumstances that an attachment is still there. Why we he meet with us and not some other VIC clubs?

C'mon Jaded, just let yourself believe that he wants to play for the Red & Blue because he still loves the club, and that he is just stringing the Pies along because....well they are The Filth, it feels good. For now anyway.

I've already been going early and telling my Collingwood mates that he wants to play in the Red & Blue jumper. If he chooses the Filth, there is gonna be some serious pride to swallow.

I just find it strange that we haven't heard a Judd to Pies rumour in a couple of days, then all of a sudden this bloke thinks he is going to the Pies. You would think if he had that mail, quite a few others sure of hell would've, and there would have been a betting plunge and a few leaks already.

I would think that some rep working the phones on GF night ain't going to know sh*t. Also, are they the only ones framing a market for Judd? If you can bet on it elsewhere it would be very unprofessional to tell someone over the phone what the result is.

If that was to happen(and i don't want it to!), i would think that Adelaide should throw in Meeson for us.

I've got no doubt a decision has been made. There are just too many rumours doing the rounds for it not to be true. It is the AFL's biggest day today, and there is just no way it should come out and take away from Grand Final day. I have a feeling though, that after everyone gets together at various GF functions today, we are going to be flooded with more rumours over the next 48 hours.

Can anyone come up with some numbers of how many new memebers of Demonland have registered since "Juddmania" began? Surley it must have spiked.

Can you explain this to me? What has Sylvia shown us so far? Has he had a BOG yet? I know Brock's had a few including a final. I am sick of the excuses for Sylvia about not having done a full preseason and injuries. I would be happy for him to move on now while he still has value, instead of us all writing in 5 years time "Oh, he would have been a gun if he could have got his body right". He may turn out to be great elsewhere, but they may be because he was given a wake-up call.

It has to be more than that. Judd has proven he is one of the greatest of all time, and has some great football still ahead of him. Draft picks are a lottery. Sylvia was a No.3 pick, and we are all still waiting for him to deliver.

I had some mail about Bomber definitely coaching Essendon next year too. If it happens, do you reckon there has been a bigger year for football stories? Cousins, Didak, Judd, Bomber....
