POSTGAME: SF vs Brisbane
Has anyone thought that maybe we actually aren't a better side with Gus in the middle?

POSTGAME: SF vs Brisbane
I'd be interested to know what are handball receives after a mark % was this season. Did not seem to be any intent to move the ball quickly, have run from behind or change angles from kicking in our back half all season.

POSTGAME: SF vs Brisbane
Not only more successful, just a much more fun year to follow the team with the way we played. I couldn't get to many games this year for various reasons, but even if we won, I had no desire to rewatch the games like previous seasons because of they way we played. Boring, risk-free footy.

Sydney fans are a bunch of obnoxious flogs.

2022 Tickets Thread
Anyone else having problems forwarding their membership tickets from the App? The icon that I usually tap to do it won't allow me today for some reason and it tells me screen shots won't work. WTF?

GAMEDAY: Rd 21 v West Coast
Any chance we can win a ground ball?

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Not to mention the the HTB against thinking he was Dusty which caused our 4th qtr fade out.....just play your f.ing role and be solid, you are not a superstar like Trac or Oliver.

Three factors in a first half deficit 1. Caleb Daniels ability to be clean in these conditions. 2. Ben Browns inaccuracy 3. Umpires

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
I feel like delivering the ball inside F50 like this is pure luck though and that is why bottom teams can take that risk. Hawks won those 50/50 chances with rubbish random kicks tonight, but this could easily be reversed on any given night and would be difficult game plan to sell in a final. "We are just going to spray the ball low along the ground and hope it finds a teammate"

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
I'd only be partial to Brown staying in if TMac plays further up the ground. WTF were we doing bombing it on top of ten man packs all night? I still worry about Browns ability to stop opposition defenders rebound attacks and ability to apply pressure when the ball hits the ground.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
I actually disagree with this. He kicked it down the line to our tallest marking option in Gawn, the issue was the laziness (or stupidity)of our other players around the area to not get to the fall of the ball. There were 4 Hawks players and they won it and moved it forward when we could've created another stoppage and eaten more time off the clock. Story of our night. Outworked and outnumbered all over the ground

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Out: Viney, Brown and Vanders In: Melksham, Sparrow and Weids Viney out will never happen, but we could really use a better ball user like Melksham.

Tickets to St Kilda Game
So when I purchased a Home & Away Trident membership this year with guaranteed Level 2 seating, I was assured this would be for away games too, but now I can only get Level 3 seating or I have to pay an additional $38 for a Level 2 seat. Is this how it usually works?

CHANGES: Rd 18 vs Essendon
I haven't gone through this whole thread, but there is a lot of hate for Melksham on here. He has been playing a defensive midfield role the last 2 weeks and did a great job on Taranto last night who figured to be a key inside mid for the Giants with Coniglio out. Add to that he is just about our best kick in a team with poor foot skills, there is no way I can entertain dropping him. Stick him on Merrett next week, and we'll be good.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Fremantle
Agreed. We were poor against Crows and North for a large portion of those games, and now when we've come up against some sides who can execute a plan as a team for 4 quarters, we've been found out. I think the Hawthorn game was the only game all season we've looked good for most of the game, but even then, they had a stretch in the 3rd quarter. You never feel good as a Melbourne supporter with our level of play.

Serong/Pickett trade
I still think Pickett will be a great player for us and fills a more pressing need as a crumbing small forward. I do feel like he is either being poorly coached or not receiving the feedback atm though, because he doesn't seem to get to the fall fall of the ball enough. This will come with some experience and maturity though, and hopefully a better game plan( with a new coach).

TEAMS: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Looking at those selecctions I think there will be a late change. One of the McDonald brothers in for a midfielder is my call.

What has happened to Clayton Oliver?
No way we should trade him. I can remember the days we could never even get first hands on the ball, they were far worse. What we need is a better mix in our midfield. I'd like to see Melksham and Salem brought into the midfield more and play as receivers for guys like Oliver and Viney to offload to.

CHANGES: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Jackson can ruck, follow up and get ground balls. He can also contest and bring the ball to ground, something which TMac has barely done all season even though he has been our No.1 target.
-
CHANGES: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
So if we drop Jackson, are we playing one tall in Weiderman? Because there is absolutely no way you can drop Jackson and somehow mount a case to keep TMac in the team, he was abysmal last night, and has been for quite some time.

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
How will Tomlinson add to our winning team? Who plays Lockhart's role?
-
CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
Interesting to see a lot of people want Lockhart out, I can't see another match up for Charlie Cameron. I think he might be a little quick for Nev, so I'd start Lockhart on him and have Nev in my back pocket if that fails. No change for me.

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
If TMac is out, I'd like to see Smith in as a forward. It gives us some flexibility to throw him back and May forward also if needed.
