Great get, was it the oval or the round one?
  2. Does he require some 'consent' education? Did you respect their privacy? Otherwise it's a little crook.

    Perish the thought.

A first rounder for a 30-year old mid-sized forward...do they drug test the recruitment teams?
  5. Surely more valuable than the Koh-I-Noor diamond.
  6. @dazzledavey36 we love you, but what does that mean in English?

With picks # 6,8,19 & 22 Freo are now well positioned to trade further up the draft board. (I know, I know...who cares)

Melbourne win a premiership, Fremantle make a good trade. 2021 - the year that EVERYTHING changed.
  9. Savage!!!
  10. Well, he has gone to where he is MOST needed.
  11. I see Essendon as his best fit in terms of their needs and his skills.
  12. Interesting @NeveroddoreveN, here are the AFL Coaches Votes over the same rounds: R11...9 Votes R13...0 Votes R15...10 Votes R16...5 Votes R17...7 Votes Solid block of form.
  13. Knowing them they will probably try and broadcast it in black and white.

Thanks for the update @Drunkn167. One of the things to be illuminated over the past fortnight is just how strong the MFC past players association is. Proudly Declan is part of that and always will be.

Despite my flippant comment about Carlton before, I do see the potential for them to progress next year; adding Hewitt and Cerra to Walsh and Cripps makes for a competitive midfield. The great unknown for me is what the coaching will look like under Voss 2.0.

    Get to take September off?

My understanding is that it will be Selwyn Griffith.

I'd suggest that the hospital would be better served using an echo sounder.
  19. Great facebook post by Samantha Jetta (also appears on Delistings 2021 thread courtesy of @dazzledavey36) "This month has been full of emotions as your 13-year journey at Melbourne FC has come to an end; however you have stayed true to yourself, showed incredible loyalty and stayed humble. Your career hasn't been easy. You have overcome so much adversity by the club during its 'dark days' when most players only play under 1 or 2 coaches in your career; you have played under 6! Not mention personally, with all the injuries you have had and been delisted on 2013 and re rookie to getting a spot on the seniors' list. You have fought on for a spot in every one of the 159 games you played, but your success shouldn't be measured by what you achieved on-field or how many games you played but by what you have achieved off-field and by the number of lives you have touched, impacted and transformed. But in your journey, the REAL MVPS are Nalani and Kyree for their sacrifices. They have lived and breathed every second of the past 10 and 7 years. Nalani and Kyree have gone without you for Birthdays, Easter, Fathers Days and other important events. They have been by your side every step of the way, from giving you a post-match debrief and tips after every game trying to coach you, also completing post-match recovery with you and been to countless training sessions." They have nursed you during injuries, felt every win and loss, opened their home and hearts to Kozzy and giving up their bedrooms, and not to mention their most significant sacrifice by turning their worlds upside down last year, living under strict covid protocols and moving interstate and into a hub. We love you and are incredibly proud of you, We can't wait until you get back xx."

Any chance of changing this thread title to "Seriously Bucked Up" ?
  21. I think Langdon has both stamina and genuine pace @ucanchoose, have seen him burn off a lot of opposition players this year.
  22. I remember when the Tigers were going to win the premiership because they'd won 3 out of 6 games and that was "right where they wanted to be!"
  23. Reflected on this with some mates...the game was so absorbing that I didn't even notice that BT was commentating.
