AFL Draft 2025: Coates Talent League
Rory Wright. Trying to keep him under wraps but he’s too good … perfect player to add to our new young midfield group. Like XL20, he can play as an attacking hbf until he builds up to an AFL midfielder role. He will be one to watch in this weeks GF. Up against the Ranges midfield group.

2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Sturt win SANFL under 18 premiership Jett Dahlitz had 37 possessions as a rebounding defender. 14 marks. Showed his talent in SA under 18 at national championships and has been excellent back at club level. Has that energy like Trent Rivers but with much better kicking skills. At 187cms, has a good size too. Would fit in as a Bailey Dale type defender who can rebound and distribute SANFLSturt win 2025 SANFL U18 Premiership - SANFL

2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Like last year, the Dees future first pick might get some interest as clubs see us weakening and potentially a pick in the top 5/6. Again the Suns have so many academy players to get, so their first pick might be available to negotiate to win.

Farewell Judd McVee
Judd McVee’s contract and signing surely sits with GM Richardson and List Manager Tim Lamb. Now that we have our new coach, I’d expect this to get sorted out in the next few days.

Sam Flanders
Dimma says no way is he looking or would consider trading Flanders. But I guess it depends on what the player thinks !!!

2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
⭐️Rory Wright. Sandringham Dragons. Just really hope he lands at the Dees. Great young midfielder. Best on ground v Giopsland today in a tough contest. Has the goods to be an AFL player. Somehow he misses in the “top 30” counts by the draft predictors. I’ve called this young gun out since April and not changing my mind. Get him JT!!!

AFL Draft 2025: Coates Talent League
@Whispering_Jack ⭐️Ollie Greeves. Eastern. 4 goals. 35 possessions. Has future star written all over. Top 10 Draftee ⭐️Lachie Dovaston. The kid will adapt perfectly into AFL. Smart and skilled sml forward. Two goals today. ⭐️Sullivan Robey. 25 possessions and a key goal early in the last qtr sealed the game before the Ranges marched on. ⭐️Willem Duursma. If he’s not pick 1, he’s pick 2. Will play AFL very early in 2026. Eagles likely to get him. ⭐️Rory Wright. Just really hope he lands at the Dees. Great young midfielder. Best on ground v Giopsland today in a tough contest. Has the goods to be an AFL player. I’ve called him out since April and not changing my mind. Get him JT!!!

AFLW: Rd 05 vs Port Adelaide
Exactly. @binman Bombing it inside 50. Did our mens coaching team take over. 🤮
-
AFLW: Rd 05 vs Port Adelaide
3/4 qtr time Port 5,7 -37 Dees 2,8 - 20 Inside 50s Dees 32. Port 21. Terrible composure and skill today !!! Coach must be going crazy. Over handballing is a curse. Can’t understand why you commit skill errors and put teammates under pressure. It’s very strange strategy !!!

Sam Flanders
Flanders has been squeezed out of the Suns Rioli and Noble play the defensive runners Rowell, Anderson, Miller, Humphrey, Davies play key midfield roles. Flanders has been relegated to the bench on rotation or as a half forward. Suns have another 3-4 young guns coming through to fill roles, like Graham, Lombard, plus draftees Patterson and Addinsall. He would be smart to get into another AFL team and get the $$ contract up

https://nine.social/11eD Is there a sports reporter more irrelevant than @sam_mcclure ? Seriously !! Such a negative negative arrogant bloke !!! He seems obsessed with putting The Demons Down. If Nathan Buckley could not commit to @melbournefc and wanted to check out other offers… then MFC decided to choose a coach who would commit!!

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Rohan Connolly: AFL JOURNALIST Nothing against Nathan Buckley, who you'd think now gets Tassie job, but really pleased to see Steven King get his chance coaching at senior level. Knows his stuff, been around traps a long time, and is a genuinely nice guy, would love to see him succeed.

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Can’t remember. When was YZE appointed for Tigers at end of 2023. I think we’d already gone out !!! I think he literally got the gig about 3-4 days after we got knocked out

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Jay Clark at Herald Sun - Geelong unofficial number 1 ticket holder Nathan Buckley was asked specifically if he was given the Melbourne job would he accept it. Buckley said he was still unsure. He wanted more info from the Devils first. Ultimately, Dees picked Steven King, and Buckley remains front runner for Tassie. heraldsun.com.au/sport/geelong-…
