Jack Gunston
At end of 2022. It’s a No. He was in his prime but not anymore. We need to save $$$ for the contracts over the next few years. Smart buying is not Gunston. More appetite if we wanted a young forward is to go for someone like Jake Riccardi from the Giants. Would be a cheap buy, young (22) and still plenty of upside.

Steven May Suspended by the Club
ST KILDA pair Paddy Ryder and Bradley Hill were involved in a bar altercation but the club has denied reports they were left out of the AFL team last week for disciplinary reasons. The Saints on Monday night said Ryder and Hill were part of a "verbal exchange and disagreement" with fellow patrons at a venue in Mordialloc. so do we now see the AFL jump onboard with a full inquiry and the integrity unit called in !!!! Surely yes and will Caro and Robbo and Damo and Tommy and Ralphy all feast on this club bust up and club in crisis headlines !!!!

NON-MFC: Round 15, 2022
Agree. Davies-Uniacke is a gun youngster. Pace and strength. Contracted until end 2023. Would command $$s if he went out to market and North would probably want a top 10 pick back for him.

Angus Brayshaw
In about 2012, a Collingwood supporter invited me as a guest to their Presidents lunch. I rejected. To lie with dogs, you get fleas. Gus will not be seen with any feral cats!!

VOTES: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
Agreed. Brayshaw not in the votes 🤨 He was composed, got it plenty and filled many gaps to repel Lions attack. But at least you called it !!
-
CHANGES: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
I think it will be “No Change” Only change possible is “in. Rivers Out. Bowey” (he was pushed aside, overran it several times and didn’t look composed with the footy as he did in rounds 1-4. )

Farewell Sam Weideman
Another chance for Sam this week. They preferred Mitch Brown over Sam in the last fortnight which reflects where Sam was at. He’s got at least the next month (4 games) to show us what we all desperately want to see. Attack on the contest. Take the mark. Or bring it to ground. Constant movement and demanding the footy. Good accurate kicking. Remove the niceness. Feeling like he belongs. Tough first up v Andrews or Adams so he’ll need to be agile and lead up to the footy. Hope we see a reflection of the 2018 finals Sam.

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
Bye - what bye ? Seems like we’ve had 10 day break whilst others had 13-14. Nonetheless hopefully there was time for the players and coaches to refresh and reset and get back to the required high standards expected all across the ground. No Gawn. No Tmcd. We need to see what LJ and the Weid can deliver. With chance, comes opportunity!!

Farewell Luke Jackson
Yes that’s the missing stat. His 2nd efforts are A+ rated imv

Farewell Luke Jackson
Fair enough. Go home factor always in play when you draft kids from interstate. But I think players are staying more and more and it’s a relatively low rate of players changing for the “go home” factor these days.

Farewell Luke Jackson
LJ to stay. We’ve given him more than money can buy. A premiership. Something he’ll always remember. Sure he can probably get a million a year elsewhere but he’s bonded with so many at MFC. If we can get to $750k a year over 5 years ($3.75m) that’s plenty of coin. If he leaves for more , that’s $$$cully-like

Could Josh Frydenberg be the new AFL CEO?
Surely ScoMo for the AFL job. He’s a gun at marketing and embellishments. Yes he knows nothing about the greatest game but at least he’ll be able to manage questions about the failings !!!
