James Harmes off to Essendon?
MFC BIO : James Harmes' versatility may be his biggest strength as a footballer. He started his career as a dangerous small forward, starred in the midfield during Melbourne's 2018 finals charge and played a role across half-back during stages of 2020. He cemented his spot in the senior side in 2021, a key player in the forward line and through the midfield helped the team to a Premiership. While his value on the field is evident, Harmes also brings an important energy off the field, being one of the most popular characters behind closed doors. He has a bubbly personality and was recognised for his community work in 2019, receiving the Ian Ridley Memorial Trophy from his biggest fan, Jon. Why is Harmesy talking to the Bombers!! They are a bunch of misfits right now. (And already have a stacked midfield- Merrett, Shiel, Parush, Caldwell, Hobbs, Mcgrath). Surely Something stinks !!! Harnesy showed heās still very much in our best 22 and can play the tag role better than anyone else in the team here is the Semi Final best players from AFL WEBSITE BEST Melbourne: Harmes, Petracca, Petty, Langdon, Oliver, Neal-Bullen IN A BAD NIGHT, HE AT LEAST TRIED TO LIFT WHEN OTHERS FAILED he averaged 20 disposals and 5 tackles across 2022 (second in tackles to Viney only) in reduced game time Harmes still has 2 years to run on his contract Heart and soul player He and his family are lifetime Demons supporters 143 games and only 27 2021 premiership player⦠including the special ākickā to Fritsch that saved the 21GF (ok a little melodramatic) You simply couldnāt meet a better player to our supporters at any function. He is a true clubman. WHY WOULD HE BE SPEAKING TO OTHER TEAMS? And even worse Essendon !!! So youād have to think that he was he told during the exit interview that itās be you are down the order in the midfield and expected to be pushed back further to allow Sparrow and Jordon more time. (Is he not one of the coachās favourites like Sparrow, Spargo or ANB!?) Harmesy is a Melbourne man He has flaws but so does every player. . We love him - his footy, his passion, he gives his all. Imv Harmesy should still be viewed strongly as a required player !!!

Trade and Free Agency rumours
Dees need to be smarter. MFC caught again By go home factor (LJ)𤮠By free agency (Hunt) 𤮠By a I-need-a-fair-go departure (Bedford) 𤮠Grundy is a roulette spin that is a costly $600k over 5 years as a ābackupā š§š§š§ big test for ex recruiter Tim Lamb. Josh Mahoney was very strong and I had confidence in his recruiting and bargaining to win the trades for Hibbo, Melksham, May, Lever, Langdon & Brown.

Farewell Jayden Hunt
āWe are rapt for him that he has the opportunity to continue his career at West Coastā. š¤®š¤®š¤®š¤®thatās usually said when a player has been perennially injured and likely to be delisted compo is 3rd round likely pick 52-54 š¤®š¤®š¤®š¤®. A player who played 42 out of a possible 46 games across two years for a team that finished premiers and 2nd across the two years. Heās a push/giveaway effectively for very little in return .

Farewell Jayden Hunt
Melbourne list manager Tim Lamb thanked Hunt for his commitment and contribution to the Demons. "Jayden has been an excellent contributor to our club over a sustained period," Lamb said. "He played an important role for us at half-back over the last couple of years and was unlucky to miss out on 2021 premiership having suffered an ankle injury in round 21 of that year. "We are rapt for him that he has the opportunity to continue his career at West Coast and we wish him all the best in the next chapter."

2022 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
If we donāt get the early young key forwards like Cadman and Gruzewski, Fletcher Hart might be worth a rookie opportunity. Fletcher Hart Club: Murray Bushrangers/Albury Height: 200cm Weight: 97kg DOB: 01/07/03 A tall forward who is an imposing athlete, Hart is a mobile big man who presents strongly as a marking target up forward. He showed a thin slice of his potential when he took 10 marks and kicked six goals in a NAB League game against the Northern Territory earlier this year.
- Aaron Cadman

Elijah Tsatas
Tsatas is the exact running type of midfielder that the Dees would love to add. But Iād prefer Cadman if we somehow managed to land a top 5 pick. My top 5 (after the Lions take Ashcroft under father-son as #1) are Cadman, Wardlaw, Tsatas, Sheezel and Humphrey. No real surprises really.

Farewell Jayden Hunt
Free agent. Doesnāt cost them any draft or player collateral. Heās got genuine Pace to attack or use defensively. Suits WA conditions. Band aid solution for them whilst they start to rebuild.
- Farewell Toby Bedford

Farewell Luke Jackson
Yes yes and yes Dees then use the pick to grab Aaron Cadman ššššš

Culture
Culture is āHowā you achieve. Dees certainly high on this scale. Making the right decisions on the right issues. But agree that winning helps, as losing breeds disappointment, frustration and often poor decisions.
