Didn't say it was Casey, it was Sandringham actually, when they were aligned with MFC. No reason to say it still doesn't happen.

Some MFC players who have been qualified to play in VFL finals have opted out due to their lack of contribution in the overall season, wanting the regular players to get their just reward, rather than replacing them.

Love to see Jetta, Davey and especially Dom Barry up against seasoned footballers.

Agree about the money. I would have thought that Anthony could make heaps more by staying in the West, rather than coming to Casey. I believe Jai Sheahan was hoping to be picked up by Casey, but doesn't look good for him. Thought he would have gone back to the Geelong region. Has talent.

I think he 'sort of' walked out at the end of 1991. Not sure why. Sunbury was definitely a suburb at that time as well. One thing, which I am sure someone will know the answer too. He was in our U19's team. It appears we didn't have to draft him, even though the National Draft was in action. So did we just put him on our senior list. I would assume that would have applied to our Reserves as well. I'm supposing our Reserves and U19s were like a giant rookie list.
